Saviour

Everything I do,
It was always for you
I wanted you to smile
Even for a short while
And I hoped what I had done would work

And yet we all know well
That life can turn to hell
It's so rife, and it sucks
You might want to give up
But we both know you're stronger than that

And I'll be here, waiting
I know it's frustrating
You've got many questions,
Some unvoiced intentions
Maybe you want to be heard, I don't know

Stay strong, keep on fighting
Your flame still igniting
Surrounded by many
Who do love you plenty
You say that I'm wrong but I'm not

You're different, it's great
So many can relate
Everyone is unique
So don't be a critique
Of yourself, because you're my saviour

You may not think it
Nor even believe it
But trust me it's true
I'm happy around you
So please let me return the favour
