Chapter 9 - Team

(Y/N)'s eyes snapped open and quickly sat up. She panted slightly. She had the same haunting nightmare she's been having ever since she escaped from Sanguinem but now, it has become worse ever since acquiring a cursed gear with two demons inside.

Guren was of course shocked about hearing two demons in one cursed gear. (Y/N) looked out of her window to see a small ray of sunlight creeping inside her room as her curtain was down, covering most of the window.

She got up, made her bed and grabbed her new uniform. She of course had her own style to choose of so she made sure to get confirmation from Guren to alternate her uniform.

Her uniform was similar to the other just that instead of a top with buttons and skirt, hers was a dress, same colour and all with the buttons. She wore black thigh high stockings and combat boots. She did her hair into a neat French braid before grabbing her sword and walked out of the room.

She made her way outside of Yuu's room before knocking on his door.

Yuu's P.O.V

I was in a dark place. I was my grown up self while a young Mika was in front of me with a frown on his face. Everywhere around us is just darkness. In Mika's arms, is a younger version of (Y/N).

" It's all your fault, Yuu-chan! It's your fault I died and making (Y/N) think she's a monster! " Mika snarled at Yuu who flinched at what he said slightly.

It was true that Yuu made (Y/N) think of herself as a monster when they first met but that's how he thinks vampires are. But of course, his views of her had changed.

Then, the two young children bodies floated then in front of Yuu was a grown Mika with hatred in his eyes as he stared at Yuu while in his arms was a grown up (Y/N) with blood on her clothes and dripping from her mouth. Her eyes looked lifeless.

Yuu's eyes widened at the sight of (Y/N)'a bloodied state and quickly looked at Mika whose clothes had blood on them as well with smears of blood on his face, dripping from his mouth and both of his eyes were glowing red.

" Tch. Asuramaru! Stop giving me these nightmares! " Yuu shouted as he clenched his fists while looking down at the floor with his hair covering his eyes.

" Hm? Well, it's not entirely my doing. This is what you feel deep inside your heart and the back of your mind. I'm just showing you what you think and feel. " Asuramaru's voice echoed around the three figures.

" I asked you to protect (Y/N)-chan but even you can't do that and look at her! She's now dead thanks to you! But at least I'll be with her from now on instead with you. You're useless and pathetic! " Mika spat.

Yuu's body trembled and suddenly, he heard loud knocking sounds. More like, boulders dropping one by one. And soon, more sounded.

" What the-?! " Yuu looked up just as Mika's and (Y/N)'s voices said in unison, " It's morning. "

Normal P.O.V

Yuu gasped and bolted out of bed. His eyes wide as he clutched his chest. He was sweating when he heard knocking on his door.

" YUICHIRO HYAKUYA! OPEN UP THIS GODDAMN DOOR SO THAT WE CAN GO ALREADY! " he heard (Y/N)'s unmistakable angry voice from the other side of the door.

" C-Coming! " Yuu shakily replied before quickly showering and dressed in his uniform, grabbed his sword and opened his door.

" Well finally! Sleeping beauty has woken up! " (Y/N) snapped angrily as she huffed and stomped away.
