*Kayla's POV- 1 11/2 year later
"Kayla! I'm back!" I hear. I grin excitedly and hop off the bed, running down the stairs.
Louis stands in the middle of the living room, wearing a pair of joggers and a plain T-Shirt, bags under his eyes and his suitcase next to him, but a wide smile on his face, lighting up his blue eyes.
I smile wider, running into his open arms, knocking him over with the forced applied by my speed. He laughs as we fall to the ground, me on top of him.
"I missed you too," he said. I laugh and lean down, capturing our lips in a loving kiss. I've missed him.
He and the boys have been on tour for their fourth album, 'Four' for the past seven months. I got to go see a couple of their shows, tagging along with Liam's girlfriend and Zayn's fiancee for the shows I went to. I didn't see Louis much, so I cherished the Skype calls and weekends where he was able to come home for a bit.
But now he's home.
Zayn just left the band, breaking hearts of Directioners everywhere, and mine too, but he would still Skype me since he left, making sure I knew he hadn't forgotten me. Seeing as the tour just ended, the boys have a while to take a break, about three months, before they are going to head back to the studios to start writing their new album.
'I missed you,' I signed. He smiled and kissed me softly again, detatching our lips to sit up and take me with him.
"I missed you too. But, we don't have to worry anymore. We have three whole months of doing nothing, to ourselves," he grinned. I smiled and nodded, running my hand mindlessly through his long hair.
'You need a hair cut,' I laughed. He gasped, clutching a hand to his chest in mock offence.
"I need no such thing! Until it is long enough to donate, this hair will keep on growing. Besides, just because you chopped yours off does not mean I have to do the same. I'm making up for you cutting yours," he said, childishly sticking his tounge out at me. I rolled my eyes and got up, holding my hand out to help him from his seated position on the floor. He took my hand and hauled himself up.
'Tea?'
"Yes, please. I'm going to go and unpack, okay? I'll be right down," he answered. I smiled and nodded, walking into the kitchen to make him his tea. I pulled out the kettle, not wanting to bother doing it in the coffee maker like he does, because he's weird. The entire seven months he's been gone, I've made it this way. I know he's gonna critisize me for it, but oh well.
"Why dont you use the coffee maker? It's like, ten times faster." And there it is. I just shake my head as he come back into the kitchen, giving my waist a squeeze as he slides by me, grabbing the things for his tea. "Weirdo," he mutters. I just laugh and he gets out the tea bags and sugar for both of us, and honey for myself.
Once the kettle starts steaming, I take it off the burner, pouring the extremely hot water in two mugs as Lou plops the tea bags in, stirring the drinks. After I had started pouring the sugar in both of ours and honey in my own, I can feel arms circling my waist, and breath on my neck.
"I don't believe I've told you that I love you since I got home," Louis said as he placed a sweet kiss on my neck. I smiled and shook my head.
'Must have slipped your mind," I pause the tea making to sign. Louis nods his head.
"Well, I love you."
'I love you.'
"Well, I'm glad," he says as he takes my free hand, guiding me to the couch so we could sit down. He grabbed the TV remote, scrolling through the channels to find something to watch. "The boys miss you. I think Liam the most. They said they'd come stop by in the next couple months to see you."
'I miss them too.'
"More than you missed me?" he asked, turning and raising an eyebrow. I laughed and shook my head.
'I don't think that is possible.'
I've missed him.
(A/N: Like, literally maybe two or three more chapters to go. I'm excited. I have another new story idea and I can't wait to write it.)
