My heart is beating,
Faster than the speed of light.
My palms are sweaty;
My hair sways in the brisk wind.Every second I run ,
I hear the thud of my shoes on the pavement ,
Landing flat with every stride.My heart feels as if it's outside my chest ,
But I've never felt more alive,
My body says I can continue to run,
My heart says I should slow down ,and
My brain says I should continue.
The adrenalines kicked in.I don't stop.
The wind hits me in the face,
as I go farther.Running makes me feel alive!
Being tired..
well, that's how you know you've won.When the adrenaline dies down,
,and I'm sitting
hoping to catch the breathe
that's gotten away from me ;
I rest for a while, until my breathing is calmed.
And I lace my tennis shoes back up again ,
get into position,
and I take off in a flash.Hoping to grasp the feeling of adrenaline once again...
