I Don't Get Compliments From Straight Guys

I don't really know how to do this
This sentimental flirting mess
Words run away from me like orphan daughters
All common sense taken to slaughter
You could paint a dozen roses with the redness of my cheeks
You could jackhammer concrete with my heartbeat

  I stutter and fidget
At the compliment you sent

Better watch out your ruining me
I don't have awkwardness insurance
And you can't fix this damage for free...
