Part Two

"Are you ready to go to the mall?" He smiles as he stands in the doorway.

"Uh, yeah sure. Let's go." I smile as I dry my wet hands.

Phoenix smiles again as he takes the keys off the key rack. "We'll be back Mama." He says as we walk out the door.

As we walk over to the little 2016 Nissan, Phoenix grabs me by my waist and pulls me to him. He kisses me gently on the lips with a smile. He lets me go and opens my door for me. I smile widely, with a slight pink blush on my face, as I get into the car,. He shuts my door and walks over to the drivers side. I put on my seat belt as Phoenix starts the car.

"So, what store do you want to go to first?" He asks as he begins to drive.

"Well, Hot Topic and then maybe Spencers?" I look at him as he drives

He smiles. "Sounds good to me. Music?"

"Of course!" I laugh.

Phoenix chuckles as he plugs in the Aux cord to the car. He plugs his phone in and the first song he puts on is the Punk Goes Pop version of Hello by Adele. I can't help but sing along, neither can Phoenix. We're yelling at the top of our lungs, I feel so happy. I'm smiling, more than ever as we pull into the mall's parking lot. Phoenix parks the car and we both get out. I waddle over to him and grab ahold of his hand. We interlock fingers as we walk inside the main entrance of the mall. We get to Hot Topic first and Phoenix smiles at me.

"We don't have a spending limit so you can get whatever you want from here. Same with Spencer's." He smiles at me as i begin to look around the store.

"Really??!! Oh thank you!" I smile as i begin to grab some band tee shirts and some skinny jeans.

Phoenix chuckles as he holds some of the stuff i grab. By the end of the Hot Topic shopping, I walk out with four giant bags full of clothing. We walk into Spencer's and I go straight to the LGBT shirts. I pick out a 'Straight Outta The Closet' shirt and a Gay Agenda shirt. I grab a Suicide Squad belt along with a hat and that's all I get from Spencer's. Phoenix pays and we walk out.

"Where do you want to go next?" Phoenix looks at me.

"Let's go to Ross, I need a new pair of shoes and some Flannel." I smile.

"Okay Ross it is!" Phoenix smiles as we begin to walk to the other side of the mall where Ross is.

I smile as we hold hands and continue to walk to Ross. As we get to Ross, we walk around for a bit before walking over to the shoes. For my age, I have really small feet. I'm about a five and a half. My feet are tiny. As I browse the shoes I come across a pair of white high top converse for ten dollars. I try them on and they're a perfect fit. I throw them into the cart the Phoenix is pushing.

We walk over to the pants section and i pick out a couple of joggers from the female section because they have softer pants. As we come across the flannel, Phoenix and I get matching flannel and I pick out an emoji pullover shirt. As we check out and begin to walk out of Ross, Phoenix pulls me to him from behind and wraps his arms around me.

"I missed you so much Alex. While you were gone I thought I'd never see you again but when Mom told us that you were coming, God, i was so happy I cried. Alex," He paused and got in front of me. " Will you finally after all this time, be my boyfriend?" Phoenix chews his inner lip.

I tear up and nod as the tears fall. "Yes! About damn time!!" I playfully hit his torso and he laughs, scooping me up in a hug.

I wrap myself around him as he hugs me tighter. He's crying, I can hear him. I'm crying. Phoenix smiles and looks at me as he kisses my nose.
