This story was inspired while listening to a song.
"Are you ok!" She ran to him, tears in her eyes before falling at his feet, holding the gushing wound in his side. "I've been looking everywhere for you!" She managed to choke out. "Took you long enough. I mean, you think thirty years would be plenty of time?" She started giggling as the tears rolled down her cheeks. "Still as humorous as ever I see." He looked up at her. His eyes calm and strong reflecting the light of the street lamp above. "Come sit next to me. You owe me that much." She let go of his cut and sat down at his side. They talked the whole night until the police found them before the break of dawn. The cops left them alone until the moment the sun rose and his breathing stopped.
