Chapter Five: Told you I would find you
Seth-
People die...so do vampires. And that was what was happening in front of me. My father had a changed vampire by her throat and he was looking into her bright green eyes with a strange satisfaction. The girl who I knew was barely classified as vampire when she turned back was sobbing in his grip.
"Please...let...go, I'll tell you. I'll tell you were she is." She whispered
And I perked my head up. This should get very interesting. Who is the girl that my father wanted? What did this girl known...did she know about my girl?
"Hello Father," I said to him and walked up to him.
"Who's this?" I chuckled as I slid a finger down her pale cheek and she just cried some more. "Not one of us, I hope. Well?"
"This is Remy, she was in the line of Dante but she changed back into a human. Dante gave me permission to play around with her. I was trying to find out where the darling Joanne is."
Joanne...not Janelle, he thinks of her as a human now. Damn him. Damn, damn him. But he was already damned.
But I let that go, I had promised her family that I would find her safe and sound and watch her until they come.
But not if my father was on where she was. I knew what I had to do; I was going to have to lie to my father to find out where she is.
"Dad, I have a bigger argument with Joanne...can I find out where she is?" I asked in my sweetest voice.
"Sure thing, son!" He laughed and dropped the girl to the floor before leaving the room smiling widely.
I sighed and laughed as I walked the girl who I picked up and sat on the chair and I looked at her. The club was near empty only some vampires were here, all were watching me.
"Ok, I'm going to ask you nicely, where is Joanne, if not I'll just make it harder where you in the end would plea for mercy." I snarled as I looked into her face.
"No...I don't know where she is...!" She lied.
"You did not say that, always want the hard way." I chuckled. "Once a vampire always a vampire."
She whimpered and whispered, "Fine I'll...I'll tell you what I know." I nodded and smiled.
"That's a great idea, you are coming with me now. We have a few things to decide." I said and I touched her forehead and wished myself to the angels.
I was going to get answers one way or another.
Watching the girl with Joanne's parent made me realize what Joanne missed out on. The girl was only two years older than Joanne's physical body age, but she had the things Joanne never had: a relationship, parents and a life.
I had taken everything away from her. Everything and at the time I did I had not regretted it, but now I had.
I guess some things my father is right about, you have to be careful what you do or you might regret it.
"Remy, you must tell me...where is Joanne?" Cameo whispered holding her shoulders.
The girl...Remy, looked at me and shook her head, "He'll kill me...Jacque would kill me if he found out I had told any of you."
