*Lizzies POV*
I thought for sure I was dreaming. I saw Emily bite back a smile, saw MY FAVOURITE YOUTUBER!!! iBallisticSquid was standing in front of me!! He had a burgundy beanie, a faded gaming t-shirt and patched faded jeans, which his hands hung from. He looked... amazing. But I'm a fan, nothing more. Although I'll admit he looked cutely nervous... nervous? To see... me? Lil ol' me? Yeah, yeah, SURE he was! He probably felt sorry for me - I remembered last night - I'd had 14 cans of Monster to stay awake - my sister had wanted to know how the Brits were last night and I hadn't watched it, so I watched the entire thing on YouTube. I take anything my sister asks to heart since... well. Yeah. That's a whole other story (A/N - one that will be told... later, if I get views 😜) Anyway, I bet I had dark circles under my eyes. He probably thought I was insane!

I couldn't believe it! Finally meeting her! My favourite YouTuber, whom, if I was to believe Emily, was MY biggest fan!! Even though I've now reached 200,000+ subs, it's a shock that such a cute girl as her likes ME! I've been trying to meet her for 3 years and now I have... but she is looking like she hates me! What have I done? Was Emily lying? Does she not like me the way I like her? Well... has anyone ever liked anyone else the way I like her (A/N - reading over that part and cringing!!) ? Emily is making lovey eyes at me and Lizzie but I'm too confused to properly register it and nudge her. Why is she acting like she hates me...?
*Lizzies POV*
He's looking at me like he's trying to figure me out. But that's never happening. Never in a billion years! Why is he pretending? I bet her already has a girlfriend - maybe is EMILY!!! I bet that's it, judging by the way she's looking at him, all lovesick. I glare at her, the bitch!! She sees the look and says 'I'll leave you 2 too it...'
*Emily's POV*
'I'll leave you 2 too it' I said, as an excuse to leave. I'm guessing that's what Lizzie wants, judging by the frosty glares she's sending me!! I watch them smirking. They're so cute together!! The way his eyes shine when he looks at her...
What's just happened? His eyes have clouds over like he's trying not to cry. She's saying stuff about... her boyfriend?? What?? She doesn't have a boyfriend?? Does she...?
*Squid's POV*
A boyfriend? Emily never mentioned a boyfriend!! Lizzie is describing him and he sounds like the perfect man. He's lucky to have her! I want to track him down and kill him... no I don't. I just want him to leave. So I can live my life with the girl I love, who is crushing my dream yet I can't stop loving her. I've stopped listening but as I draw nearer I hear her say 'Just friends, OK? Just friends?' And the last thing I heard before tuning out completely was Emily murmuring 'yeah RIGHT!'
A/N - so it's a longer one now! Basically, Lizzie doesn't have a boyfriend but she doesn't want Squid 'pitying' her - which he doesn't!! So now you know who it is!! Although the cover may have been a clue....
