Squids POV
Four Months after finding out Lizzie was pregnant we headed to the doctors because we knew after the first ultrasound we could find out the sex of the baby at four months.
I have been waiting for this day since the night of our wedding.
Me and Lizzie walk hand in hand to the doctors since we live 2 minutes away. Lizzie was getting bigger each day and even more hormonal. Like yesterday I told her we had no bacon and she was crying hysterically for at least two hours. I was quite scared actually so I called Stampy round while Lizzie locked herself in her room.
We walked into the Doctors and asked for the way to the the midwives. We got a few funny looks from the staff when we walked in. Probably because we are so young and there kids might watch us... that sounds creepy *shudder*
They tell us where to go and we walk through the many corridors and pass a waiting room with the TV show Flog it on and we hear 'and now it's the moment of truth for the bowl' me and Lizzie continue walking and burst into laughter when we reach the lift. I mean that has to be the funniest thing ever or are we just sad...
We are called in to the midwives room and Lizzie lies on the bed and lifts her top up. I walk round to the other side of the bed and hold her hand...
Lizzie's POV
The nurse puts the cold gel into my stomach and I shiver. She puts the thing onto my stomach and we can hear one of the greatest sounds of the universe a baby's heart beat. I shed a tear and looked up to find squid with a tear in his eye focused on the black blurry mess that one day will be our child. I squeezed his hand and he looked down.
'One day in 5 months he or she will be born' he said crying.
'I know and they will be spoilt rotten' I replied.
The nurse asked us if we wanted to know the sex. We both said yes and the nurse put more gel onto my stomach so she could do a deeper ultrasound.
"There you go" she said showing us the screen.
'Were having a little...'
