(F/N) Day 0, 17 minutes - Scarlet Rain.

Scarlet red is all that's left of us, A room where no honesty remains, Still farther fetched is our return to grace, Though I'd give anything to turn back these idle hands of shame.

"First, accept sadness, realise that without losing. Winning isn't so great." - Alyssa Milano.

(F/N) Day 0, 17 Minutes.

"Doctor, right now, there's only one speed, my speed, keep up, if you fall behind don't step up, you'll just die." At this the infected Doctor with a nervous tick nods in response, my eyes being the only two glowing orbs in the dark that inspire. An inspiration to move out the way.

Or get mowed down.

Especially with my...current mood.

"Y-yeah. I'll...try." He responds, keeping a suitable distance behind me whilst I keep an eye on every corner imaginable.

Every shadow is somewhere they can hide, but to me, everything looks like it's bathed in blueish light.

Within minutes and two infected later we found ourselves at the first blast door, the doctor hastily opening it with his own codes whilst I keep an eye on the corridor, keeping one of my weapons aimed down the corridor in front of me whilst the other I aim at the door itself as it opens.

"S-someone's-s nearby." The doctor says whilst peeking into the room.

"Thanks for the heads up." I reply, trying to keep my breathing steady as my heart rate picks up the pace, fear starting to make its way through my body whilst I slowly enter the decontamination room before the doctor follows me. The door seals, eliciting me to lower my weapons. But not my guard.

The doctor looks at me with a tilted head. "You're afraid?..."

I look him directly in the eyes. "Doc, I am in a secure facility with what amount to Vampires, I'm not exactly calm. As a matter of fact I'm a few inches away from shitting myself."

The doctor chuckles nervously. "Well...A-atleast, I know I-I'm not alone hehe..."

As he says this, the door opposite us opens to reveal a certain someone standing behind the ballistic glass of the security checkpoint ahead. Wiping her mouth and dropping a security guard, moving deeper into the facility.

"Pyrrha..." I whisper to myself whilst starting to walk forwards with a bit more confidence in each step. "Powers out so the metal detectors won't give away our position, cameras are out to so we've got the upper hand." I comment quietly, more so to reassure myself.

I slowly place my hand on the door that's partially open and slowly push it, the door thankfully not making a sound as I do so, letting out a steady breath before checking the corridor on either direction. Not noticing the corpse Pyrrha was feeding from has disappeared entirely.

"W-what's your uh...name?" The Doctor asks, I'm a little busy concentrating on not alerting the enemy to my present location, but I don't tell him that, it may make him calmer if I answer at the very least quietly.

"(F/N)...(F/N) (L/N), everyone calls me Riddick." I whisper in reply.

"Really?"

"No."

"There's n-no point in whispering, t-they already know we're, uh, here." As he says this I lower my weapons and turn to glare at him with an annoyed expression.

"It would've been lovely to know that before we walked into the area that they're all in. You know, so I would've been conscious of this information previously so I didn't waste my time being quiet, or you know what, you shouldn't have told me in general so I'm not pissing myself!!" I whisper shout at the Doctor, eliciting him to look down, his shaking intensifying, leading me to sigh in frustration.
