Draco Malfoy x Reader (m/f). 

The Forbidden Forest is really the last place you'd want to be a midnight on a school night, but here you are. You're following Draco Malfoy, who you spotted slipping through a secret passage when you were on your way back from an evening spent studying in the library. Your curiosity got the better of you and that's why you're here now, book bag slung over your shoulder, trying to be as quiet as possible while following Hogwarts' notorious bad boy through one of the most dangerous places known to wizardkind!

Merlin, you get yourself into some of the most ridiculous situations. You're dormmates are going to freak out when they find out where you've been.

You huff frustrate as you lose sight of Draco and consider just calling it a night, when you hear the crack of a branch breaking underfoot behind you. You whip out your wand and spin around, ready to fight whatever dangerous creature is lurking.

"Lumous", you whisper, before commanding, "Whose there? Show yourself!"

"Show myself?", Draco smirked, stepping into the newfound light, "You should have shown yourself about an hour ago when you first started following me, [Y/N]"

You feel a blush creeping into your cheeks, "How do you know I was following you? I could have just been taking a walk..."

"Alone in the Forbidden Forest at midnight?", Draco finishes, eyebrow raised.

"Well, when you put it like that it doesn't sound plausible!", you say with a shaky laugh.

"Indeed", he replies, but smiles a little.

"I just wanted to know what you were doing out here is all", you say honestly.

"Oh", Draco says, evidentially caught a little off guard. "I was just - look, come with me and I'll show you", he says. He looks like he's going to reach for your hand, but thinks better of it.

"This way", he motions, and walks close to you for the rest of the way.
