George Weasley x Reader (7th year, f).

It's a Friday morning at you're sitting down to a full English breakfast in the Great Hall, your plate piled high with eggs, bacon and sausages. You're ridiculously hungry, and you figure it's because you were so busy studying for your exams last night you forgot to have dinner.

The NEWT's - Nastily Exhausting Wizarding Tests - were so named for a reason. You feel as though you look like you've been dragged through the Whomping Willow backwards. However, obviously George Weasley doesn't think so, as you see him staring at you out of the corner of your eye. You wave shyly to him, and he winks at you, causing your cheeks to flush with colour.

As you leave the hall, intent on going to the library to continue studying, George runs after you.

"[Y/N]! [Y/N]!", he calls after you and you turn on your heel to see him grinning at you, running a hand through his messy ginger hair.

"Hi George", you say, brushing your bangs out of your face, "What's up?"

"I just wanted to say I missed seeing you at dinner last night, and just wondering if there's anything I can do to help you prepare for exams?"

He's so sweet you can't help the smile that breaks across your face, "Oh I'm okay, just busy, you know?"

He nods in agreement, "Of course. Hey, do you think a midnight picnic at the Astronomy Tower would help get your mind off of things?"

"I think that is exactly what I need right now!"

"Wonderful! It's a date then", he grins cheekily at you, and your heart races with anticipation of that evening. You're sure it will be one to remember.
