We walked slowly down the path in camden. People bumbled and shoved passed, and i still half expected them to mob Noel, but he wasnt the super star legend  had grown up admiring. Many ideas on how I had 'gone back in time' had flashed threw my mind and I thought over them as Noel ate. Either I was mad, which was a possibility if you asked my old class mates. Or my dreams were becoming reality in my mind to entertain me in my final moments. Or I had been saved by my favorite TV character The Doctor, but that was the least likely. Maybe this is what happened when you die, but I had to get back. I had just got my GCSEs in Drama, Music, Law and Biology. I had a life in front of me, I mean sure, they had some how been transfered or something , as I had the letters through the post three days ago. A new idea accurd to me. Maybe it wasnt a dream, maybe this was real and my old life was-

"God your miles away." I saw a hand waving lazily infront of my face. I smiled at Noel and stopped. I was looking at him, even with ice cream around his lips, he still looked good looking in a rogue kind of way. He raised his eyebrow at me, I half sighed/half laughed as I continued walking, mumbling under my breath.

"You 90's men, so fit, but so arrogant." He put his hand on my waist and spun me around to face his so I was centimeters away from his face.

"90's men? Your living in the past, love. Men werent gentlemen in the 80's you know, thats just an illusion in your brain." His eyes scanned my face, like he had been imployed to memorise it. I placed my hand on his heart, feeling it beating softly.

"Im not living in the past," Our eyes met as I pushed him away. "Ive got the ideas of the future. Not all men are like you, at least I hope not." I was a little bit infront of Noel when he managed to repair his dignaty and catch up.

"You've got a good idea of the future, my dear. Come on, keep me entertained, what else happens in your future?" I turned to face him.

"Well first, music will finally take a turn for the better, with more people following the lead of Nirvana's style, and other bands like Oa- others and stuff." I caught myself before I revealed to Noel about his sucess. "There will be some awesome actors and films, directors aswell."

Noel openly laughed at me. I sighed once more but then the store we were standing infront of caught my eye. I moved passed him heading towards it.

"And another thing, Noely boy, these will come back in fashion." The Dr. Martens made me smile, they were like a little flash of home. I had recieved a pair for my sixteenth birthday, red tartan ones with bright yellow laces. They had been my most prize posession, I wore them with literally everything. I saw a pair just like them on the bottom shelf and leaned down to take a closer look. The strong smell of plastic and leather was conforting. I breathed it in, earning some strange looks from customers. I stood up to see Noel leaning against the shelf looking down at me as if I was a mix of a giant piece of cake and a marshen.

"Where are you from?" He asked me. I huffed as I stood.

"Ive told you, Im from Mansfield." He shook his head.

"Nope, no one, not even from Mansfield, can be this smart, but this weird." I looked indignant as I placed my hands on hips.

"This world is a dystopia, yet im the weird one?" Noel looked confused.

"Dystopia? Now that is a new one. Why is this world so dystopinnan?" I laughed.

"Oh its nothing. Im just not used to it, not being from round here, and all. "

"I dont know where you come from and no I havent got a clue what your saying, but I believe you when you speak."

"You should write that down" I winked and walked out of the shop into the highstreet.
