A couple of things made today stand out as the worst day ever.

1) I got fired at LuLu's Pet Supplies for questioning my boss.

2) My parents yelled at me for being lazy

3) Waking up with a b*tch of a headache in a park just tops off my whole day of crap.

I moved my hands under me lifting off the ground and leaned back against the tree. My head felt like it had been hit by a hammer a dozen times and the darkness around me didn't help my rolling stomach, I really wanted to hurl. It was more comfortable laying down on the cold grass, so I just flopped back down.

Thud.

Weird, why would grass thud?

My curiosity overpowered the need keep my eyes shut and I opened my eyes a crack and stared at a metal floor beneath my face. I shut my eyes.

Must be a hallucination. I had to have had drunk too much.

But on the other hand I had never touched a drink before. In 15 years of my short pathetic life I had been the good girl, so why did it fell like I had downed a whole bottle of tequila.

I had always though teenagers started drinking way to early. I blame peer pressure.

Stop it, Liz. Focus on the problem on hand.

Turning my head to the side, I didn't recognize the wall and realized I wasn't outside, but in some metal room. I bolted standing and started to sway, rising too quickly. I leaned over my knees and hurled all over the metal floor. Tears in my eyes, I wiped my mouth on my sleeve and looked around feeling like my heart was ready to burst forth.

The smell hit me first. It smelled like metal, maybe iron. A memory tugged at me. Now that I thought of it the whole room stank.

Sniff, Even me.

I let my hands roam around the dark room. It took me only a few minutes it wasn't large maybe the size of a large walk-in closet. My Mom had one about this size.

Bang. BANG.

I looked around trying to find the source of noise, but couldn't see anything in the dark. Something was definitely going on outside this room. I wasn't sure what direction because I had yet to locate the god damn door.

Elizabeth, Deep breathe anger only slows someone down. My fathers words of wisdom when he wasn't yelling at . . . STOP IT. Stop it, find the exit, you idiot before someone comes,my mind screamed.

Don't you hate it when your mind is right.

BANG.

I scrambled as far away as I could from the light that seeped in through the door. Tears wheeled up in my eyes, the light was so bright after the dark. Vaguely making out shapes, one of the blurs got bigger the more my eyes focused. A man, what I assumed to be a man came flying towards me. Diving away just in time as he hit where I'd been not two seconds ago, he rolled to his side and groaned as the blurs at the door moved closer inside. My eyes adjusted to the bright light and they became two scary looking men.

The tallest one kneeled down in front taking my chin roughly in his large hand. His hand tightened on my chin as I tried pulling away, but I gave up realizing he wasn't even budging.

He gave me a creepy smile, "Look Nicholai, This ones awake already." he spoke a slight European accent reminding me of my Ukrainian neighbour.

This guy obviously had boundary issues. Any closer and I'm gonna slap him.

His face inches from mine, eyes so vibrant he must have contacts, skin flawless and a dimple skin, but as I travelled lower down what stood out most was his teeth. They all looked like normal straightened teeth. Hell, any person would have payed thousands to get their teeth this straight.

Only their was one problem with two of them. They were long and sharp and had wet blood on them. Not dried blood, no, wet dripping blood that splashed his bottom teeth. I started shaking in fear.

"Don't go anywhere sweetheart. I've got plans for you, we all do."

As he let go of my chin and stood up, I gazed at my new roommate for help. He had cuts all over him that were bleeding onto the wet ground.

Wait, wet.

I did a double take at the ground and saw the dried and fresh blood that was everywhere, the floor, the walls. Hell, it was even on the ceiling.

The door slammed shut leaving me in stunned silence with my new horror. My screams followed my captures down the corridor.
