I ran behind shanii pointing my gun and shooting everything I could shanii held me back And looked at me " you hear that" I looked around hearing a slight sobbing noise " um yeah I think"  shanii ran to it I ran behind her. As we got closer to the sound shanii stopped in her tracks "i-It's a kid" She ran towards the small and rested her hand on the kids shoulder "hey kid" She smiled an assuring smile she ran back to me and grabbed a snack she put in there when she was about to turn around when she noticed the horde of zombies surrounding the kid shanii lifted her bat about to swing "s-sis?" She froze a few zombies walked over to her about to take a big bite into her I shot them just as I was firing again I heard that faithful clicking noise And I wasn't in the right position to take time and reload so I just grabbed shanii and ran fast I looked around spotting an empty warehouse I. Pulled her into the warehouse she snapped out of it and ran up some stairs  "Shut the door" she said as I ran into the ware house slamming the door shut breathing heavily against the door "that was close huh" I smiled expecting to get her usual playful smile but to my surprise all I got was a scream instead "WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED!!" I gave her a look of sympathy " don't beat yourself up about it" she growled jumping down to me "I could have saved that poor girl's life but instead I froze  and almost died myself" I looked out the window to see them trying their hardest to break in "you were scared don't beat yourself up about it" she sighed before walking off
