Chapter 17

Lizas pov

Monday

I walk into school and walk to the bench.

Mia and Gabbie are talking to each other. Okay?

"Hey..." I say.

Gabbie raises her eyebrows, "look who it is."

Mia laughs. I frown and turn around and bump into David.

"What's going on?" He asks.

"Well Mia told me you were cheating on me with Liza." Gabbie says.

"That's not true." David says.

"Uhh that's what you told me on FaceTime Friday night." Mia says.

I open my mouth in shock.

"I hate all of you!" I scream not caring who's looking and I walk off.

I can't believe David would tell Mia about what we were doing! And now I don't think Gabbie will ever forgive me.

When the bell rings I go to class. As much as I hate where I sit in math i really care about my future so I attend anyway.

I'm there before anyone else and I sit down and study my nails.

David comes in and sees me, he rushes up to, "Liza I'm so, so sorry please let me explain," he says.

I look up at him, he looks sad and tired and my heart sinks.

"Ok fine," I say.

"Wait for me after class," he says then gets in his seat. Mia comes in and gives me a dirty look.

I roll my eyes and stick my finger up at her.

"Sir! Liza put the finger up at me!!" She says.

The teacher laughs, "don't be a baby a finger won't hurt anyone ."

She glares at him and sits down.

Lunch-

David and I sit in the library isolated from everyone else.

"Why did you tell her?" I ask.

"I didn't tell her that, she told me she liked me and I told her 'sorry but I like Liza I've liked her even before Gabbie and I were dating'"

I raise my eyebrows at him.

"I'm being honest Liza," he says softly.

"Okay it's just I love you David and these past few days have been so confusing I don't want to loose you," I say resting my head on his chest. He wraps his arm around me tightly.

"I know I'm so sorry Liza it's my fault you can't deny it," he says.

I don't answer I just rest against him.
