Chapter 20

Lizas pov

Mia didn't show up to math class. Not that I cared. When class ended David waited for me, "can I talk to you in private?" He asks me.

"Sure."

We put our stuff in our lockers then he leads me to a quiet area in the back of the school.

He sits on the grass and I kneel down.

"It's wet," I say. He puts his hoodie on the ground and I sit on it.

"Better?"

"Yea. So what did you want to talk to me about ?" I ask him.

"Umm well, do you want to be my girlfriend?" He asks shyly.

"Yes," I say and I hug him.

When we pull away from the hug, I look into his eyes and kiss him. He wraps his arms around my waist and we start to make out. I pull away for air and then I see two figures walk closer to us.

"David who are they?"

"I'm not sure."

It turns out it was only Zane and Gabbie.

"There you guys are!! We walked around the whole school," Gabbie says.

"Where's Heath?" David asks Zane.

"I dunno he's being a Bitch," Zane says angrily.

"Why?" I ask.

"Don't be so nosey!" Says Gabbie but she looks curious to.

Zane sighs, "well since I told him I guess I should tell you guys..."

We sit patiently in silence.

"I'm gay. And I like Heath." Zane says nervously.

I look at David and he looks at me with wide eyes.

Then I look at Gabbie and remember she likes him. Uh oh.

She wraps an arm around him, "aww Zane well if heaths gonna hate you just because your gay you don't deserve him."

Zane nods but he stays quiet.

"I know he's always said he hates gays but I always thought he was joking around and now I've lost my best friend!" He says starting to cry.

His phone lights up and it's an incoming FaceTime call from Heath.
