Life is just great. I went from being a normal child who is late to everything, to being a magical creature thing that reincarnates and has powers, to being pulled into a family feud between two supernatural creatures.
I said nothing to Selene. What could I say? 'Sorry that you had to go through that?' Or 'Sorry that your son hates you and want a revenge?'
"I know it's a lot to take in at once, don't worry, everything will work out.", Selene said with a half way reassuring smile.
"But wait before I forget, why did Kilon decide to snack on my arm? What going to happen to happen to me and my family? My mate?"
"One question at a time child. As I already told you, every supernatural creature wants you as a mate, only Kilon being the sly dragon he is, had already laid claim on you. You may not have seen it yet but under the bandages you have a mark, like a tattoo, it's the Royal Dragon Family crest. You'll bear the mark until Kilon or a member of the High Royal family takes it off. And until that happens you'll be under their protection. If I'm not mistaken he plans on taking you back so you can compete for the Crowned Prince hand."
"Excuse me?! I think the fuck not! Who the hell does he think he is? There is no way I'm going with him to be some stupid Prince's wife!," I was fuming with anger but Selene wouldn't have that.
"Now, now hush. As to your other questions, you are going to be taken back with Kilon as I already said and take the evaluation to see if you are fit to be the Princes mate. Your family is to stay here for the duration of that time. And your mate, well, you cannot complete your bond with him until after the evaluation. If you happen to be selected as the bride then you will be forced to reject him. And no you have no say in this so don't bother exploding."
"I have to be evaluated even if I'm chubby?", I asked grabbing my belly fat, "Even if my nose is crooked?", "Even if I'm ugly and always late to everything? Even if I don't have a nice butt, well even if I don't have a butt? Even if I hate doing chores? Even if I'm rude at times and fight with everyone? Even if I like to get dirty? Even if I love to eat and refuse to work out? Even if..."
Even if I'm broken? I thought.
"Your physical appearance does not matter to them, dragons tend to focus more on the person emotions and actions. I'll help you correct your other bad habits and teach you how to control your powers. I swear I'll help you through all of this, and besides if your not chosen then you get to come back to your family and be with your mate. No harm done.", I was too tired to argue back and I knew arguing would pointless so I didn't.
"I suppose your right. It's getting late, want to head back to the pack house? My dad is probably destroying the place looking for me.", she nodded and we walked back in silence just staring at whatever we passed by. Aura was asleep so I didn't bother waking her.
To my great surprise my dad wasn't looking for me, everyone of the pack members was eating dinner. "Kilon informed them that you'd be with me.", Selene said before she walked away. I swam through the crowd and settled down with my family. I said nothing as I served myself food and ate. I felt my family staring at me, waiting for me to say something but I came up with nothing. As soon as I finished I silently walked to my room.
"Hey Conner wait up.", I didn't have to turn to see which one of my brothers had followed me. Seal was the oldest out of us all, fifteen years older than me but acted like a five year almost all the time. He was like a second father to my other brothers and I.
"I know you have a lot going on and I may not be much help but I'm here and so are the other guys. If you need anything we'll be there, 'kay?", I stared at him for a second and quietly lead my way into his arms. He wrapped his arms around my upper body and squeezed me while I squeezed him back. At that moment, as his body warmth surrounded me, all the worries and troubles rolling around in my head melted away and I felt at peace.
When I pulled away his warmth remained around me. "Thanks bro, I feel better already. Don't worry about me, hurry and go back before the other two finish all the food.", he flashed his signature smile at me while turning and walking away. I sighed and walked to my bedroom.
The day had taken its toll on both my body and mind, I just wanted to sleep for the rest of my life. I lazily threw my body on my bed and drifted peacefully into a dark and serene oblivion.

Hey guys! I know it's been soooo long, you guys probably thought I was dead or something. Anyways I'm so sorry for not updating and I promise I'll get back into updating all my books. Also sorry that this chapter is short.
