Three weeks later Selena's POV As Selena enters the apartment that has become almost a second home to her over the past few weeks, she can't help but despise the feelings she receives. Sad, empty, broken. Despite the awful atmosphere, Selena continues to walk towards the person who's releasing the negative energy, Camila. ****Flashback**** When Selena receives a call from Camila at 5 o'clock on a random Tuesday, she definitely thinks it's rather odd. Although her and her younger cousin are back in each other's lives, they typically don't call each other. Texting, snap chatting, FaceTimeing, sure, but actually communicating over the phone via only their voices, not a usual occurrence. The first thing Selena hears when she picks up the phone is crying. She instantly knows that something is extremely wrong, —CC, what's the matter? She—she left me, Sel. For her.— As Camila's cries become heavier, Selena's confusion increases, —Wait... what? Talk to me, Mila. Y/N... She left me for Lauren!— "Mierda santa..." Selena says to herself, shocked over the new information. As Camila's cries turn into sobs, Selena knows she needs to calm her cousin down, —Deep breaths, Babe. Everything's going to be ok. No they're not, Sel! I don't know how to live without her. I— I can't do this!— —Karla Camila, don't you dare do anything stupid! Stay on the phone, I'm going to put you on speaker while I drive to your place. Selena drives like a madwoman to her cousin's home. She knows Camila needs someone to be there for her, and that someone is going to be her. When she reaches the apartment complex, she quickly rushes inside. Upon seeing the younger brown-eyed Latina curled up in her bed, bawling, Selena can't prevent the tears that well up in her eyes. However, Selena knows she has to be strong and positive for her cousin, so she quickly blinks away the tears and crawls into the bed, holding the hurting woman as if her life depends on it. As Selena nears her cousin's bedroom door, she takes a deep breath. It's been the same routine for the past three weeks: Selena wakes up, goes to work, brings Camila food after work and stays with her for a while, meanwhile, Camila stays in bed the majority of the day, only getting up to use the restroom or to get a glass of water every once in a while. Although the random crying episodes ended after the first week of the 'breakup', Camila is still definitely not herself. She's much more quiet and dull. It's almost as if she's not fully present or awake. Selena knows that losing the person you thought you'd have for forever is ridiculously hard, but she really wants the old-Camila to start coming back, It's time for a change... Selena thinks to herself before entering her cousin's room, "Hey CC," Camila looks away from the television briefly so she can make eye contact, then she returns her attention back to Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer, "How was your day today?" Selena questions, trying to get her cousin to actually speak. Instead of responding how Selena would like, Camila just shrugs. This frustrates Selena greatly, leading to her grabbing the remote and pressing the off button. This triggers a reaction from her cousin, "What the hell?" "Listen Camila. I love you, you know that. So I'm going to say what I have to say to you totally out of love, ok?" Camila doesn't speak, but she does shake her head, showing that she's listening, "This isn't healthy. I know you're hurting, but staying in bed, not talking, acting like a damn robot, you can't keep doing this," "I don't know what to do, Sel," Camila says with tears welling up in her eyes, Good, it's progress, "You start living again, C. You go to work, smile, spend time with family and friends, have fun, fucking live," "That's the thing! I don't know how to live without her. I fucking hate it... I don't even know who the hell I am without her," "Well wake the hell up and go find your new self then! You don't need Y/N. You've got so many people that are here for you Mila. And I'd bet money that there's somebody perfect out there for you, you just have to go find them," "I don't want anyone else though... I just want my Y/N/N," "Well go get her then, Prima," "I can't. She doesn't want me, Sel," "Sure, she probably doesn't want you like this. But go get in a shower and put on something that makes you look super hot. I'm sure she'll want you then," Selena cheekily responds while adding a wink. For the first time in weeks, Camila smiles, actually smiles, and Selena knows she's doing a good job, "Aye, there are those pearly whites!" Camila starts to laugh while shaking her head, "God, I've been a disaster, haven't I?" "A goddamn wreck," Selena says with a smile on her face, "Jesus, I'm so sorry Sel. I have no clue how to even start repaying you," Perfect! "I think I have an idea..." "Shit... Should I be scared?" Camila teasingly questions, "Of course not, Cousin! It's going to be super fun," Selena says with a smirk, "Oh no... What is it?" "You, me, Dinah, and Ally are going clubbing tonight!" "Uhhh—" "Nope! No arguments, Missy. Get your ass in the shower and put on a dress and a pair of fuck-me-heels, I'll be back by 8 to pick you up," Selena practically orders while walking towards the door, "Where're you going?" "I gotta go get ready too. I'll see you soon," Or maybe not...
Y/N's POV From: Green Eyes🙈💚- I'm serious! I legit thought I was the smartest fucking intellectual for putting the lipsticks inside of the purse when my mom said to only pick one! From: Y/N/N🐥💜- Omg! "Do I look ok?" Calum nervously asks while buttoning his jacket, "Hell yea you do! Thas my bestfrand ya'll! You go bestfrand!" You yell playfully while jumping up and down. In return, Calum laughs, "Is there a special celebration happening tonight or something?" "Well... I'm planning on telling Alessia that I love her tonight," you pause for a few seconds, "OH MY GOD!!! My boy's in love and he's going to profess it! Yes! yes! yes! yes!" he laughs at your reaction, "Ok, Y/N/N, you can calm down now," you release a breath, "I'm sorry, I'm just so happy for the both of you, Brother," he sends you an appreciative smile, "Thank you, Sis, and I'm happy for you too. I know that things haven't been easy lately, but how you've handled the separation and how you're respectfully trying to move on, I'm really impressed," "I think it can barely be considered 'moving on', but thank you," "Girl, you've been smiling and laughing your ass off while looking at your stupid phone for weeks now. I'm pretty positive I hear you mumble something about 'green eyes' when you're sleeping," you blush while he teasingly laughs, "I love talking to her and all, but goddamn, it's frustrating!" You exasperatedly say, "What do you mean?" "She's super great, right? And I would really like to take her out on a date and maybe that could lead to more, but I know I can't," "Why not? You're both single pringles, right?" "Well yea, but ever since she told me we'd never happen because of Camila, I'm fucking terrified to try to bring it up to her again," you admit, "Oooh, so she's scared that Camila's going to blow a gasket if you two get together," you laugh at his wording, "Basically, yes," "Here's my honest advice. Keep pursuing Lauren if you want to. If it's meant to happen, it will. Karla's just going to have to get her Cuban-Mexican ass over it if it does," you smile at him and nod your head in agreement, "Ok, thank you. Now get the hell out here and go get your better half, Lovebird," you wink at him while he laughs. As he begins to walk towards the door, he faces you once again, "Wait, I almost forgot! When you were in the shower, Camila's cousin, Selena I think, called your phone. She said that she needs to give something to you so I gave her the address to here. She should be dropping by some time tonight I guess," Although it's a bit abnormal, you don't think too much of it, "All right, have fun!" He winks before walking towards the door and leaving, What does Selena need to give me?
