Might as well continue where we left off last time. After that amazing Hiccstrid scene we are all shown an intense battle scene then enraptured in a moment where everyone believes our great dragon trainer is dead. The way Astrid barged through the crowd shows her worry, and what's even more emotional is the crowd knows she has a strong connection with the boy by the way she is acting and lets her through. And when she finally sees Hiccup 'dead' on ground you can see it in her face that her world just crumples and her heart breaks. She is caught in a moment of disbelief until later as the camera zooms out to show the remorseful crowd of Vikings and then you can see her heavily breathing as if a great weight has been pressed on her. She is utterly heartbroken that he has 'died' and even more so than the movie openly let on.
