Chapter 5

Amazing Power

I couldn't go to school or do anything fun. Because I'll put my life in danger. I have to sit inside matt's house as bored as a deflating balloon.

The police came to the door.

One of the officers said "pack your things we're going".

I didn't argue. I grabbed my stuff and got into the police car with Mark.

I ask "where am I going".

The police officer says "area 53".

The other officer says "to see your older brother".

I say "I have a brother".

I arrive at area 53. It's like a school but with statues of my parents in the center. I walk in the gates and every one looks at me. A person is holding up a sign with my name on it.

I walk up to him and say "hi".

He replies "who are you".

I say "The person on your sign".

He says "sorry, I'm meant to take you on a tour".

I ask "what's your name first?"

He replies "Robert, Your brother".

I say "ohh cool". We walk all over the place getting to know each other.

Robert says "this is your room.

My stuff was already even Mark. I sit on the bed and think why am I here for.

The next morning I wake up to Mark barking. I get up and have a shower and go and have breakfast. My brother wants me to see what our parents were working on.

It"s a serum that looks like orange juice. It's meant to give people powers. Some of the scientists working on it talk to me about testing it.

I say "ok".

I sit in a chair and get belted to it and the serum gets ejected in my wrist. It felt weird for a few seconds. I start screaming. My blood veins glow all over my body. I settle down and I get unstrapped from the chair. I stand up and look at my hands.

I say "I can feel the power".

I walk around.

My brother says "can you count to 10".

I say "1..2..3..4..5..6..7..8..9..10".

He says "brilliant, it worked".

Someone says that it worked. I walk out to the front and run around. I jump and I float off the ground. I look at my brother.

I yell "this is amazing".

I go down and shake hands with my fellow scientists.

I say "can I have something to eat".

We all walk to the eating place. I have a sandwich with all of my favorites. I give a piece of ham to Mark.

My brother says it's going to last forever.

One other the officers say "do u want to see Matt".

I say "YES".

I leave in the morning.

The next day I get into a car with my brother and a few other people. I get there and find the windows smashed and the place a dump. I go and check it out. I hear a noise come from the closet. I sneak to the closet and open it with causion. It was Matt. He was in tears. I grab his arm and pull him to his feet.

I say "what happened?"

He reply's "some people in black came and destroyed the place and took my parents".

I walk to the car with him. He sits in the car and talks to some people.

Rop says "I need something from your house, can I get it?"

I say "sure, can I come?"

We walk into my house and look behind stuff for a safe.

I say "I found it!"

Rop says "awesome".

We lift it out to the car. I get in beside Matt and talked to him.

he says "where are we going".

I say "somewhere safe".

We all head back to area 53. I walk around with Matt. We walk past my room and Mark gets up and fun's towards us.

I walk into the lab and see the safe on the table
