The Physical And Ignorance

I never gave much thought to transgender as for me from a young age -it just didn't matter.

I do not mean that these people didn't matter it was more they are just more people what they are was of no concern to me it made no difference on how they treated others which was what really mattered.

The idea of gender fluid is fairly new to me as I've said previously I've had no personal experience so it was never something that occurred to me.

Whenever I heard of people talking about it I felt no real view unless someone made an ignorant comment such as "your gender doesn't exsist" at which I'd feel irritance towards as it seemed unfair and wrong to judge people that way!

However it is only really now as I write this that I have started to put any real thought into the subject.

My concern is the ignorance in so many views and the lack of support so many deserve.

I have children and as my parents did with me I want them to grow up no caring about another's looks, sexual orientation or gender identity. As my dad would say "It's non of my business".

So as I have been thinking about this I've come to a thought that much of the ignorance in people's opinions (as they are not facts as they mistakenly call them) are quite steeped in those who can only think in the physical sense.

When one realises this is one reasoning for their views it makes more sense as to why they can not comprehend the feelings of people with gender identity issues.

I would say so often "I just don't understand how these ignorant people's minds work". But I think I now may have found the key.

To them all they see in a person is the physical, they see the body and the sexual organs as nothing more than physical. This is think is why transgender who've gone through physical transformation may be more 'accepted' by some ignorant to other gender identities.

They accept they were physically born one gender and accept they physically transformed to the opposite gender.

What they seem to miss which is THE MOST important is what is going on inside where physical is no longer.

The heart, soul and mind. (I do not say heart in the sense of the physical muscular organ but in the sense of one's true feelings). These are not physical like the body -skeleton, organs, muscle, skin etc.

People accept that they are there because everyone can feel them.

People feel love towards family, friends, animals, romantic partners even physical objects.
-I love my books, clothes the bhindis I wear!

People can hear their minds thoughts or inner voice.

No one really knows what ones soul is but everyone feels it. That that is them inside these bodies.

Not everyone believes in this however, some believe all there is, is what they see hear taste smell and feel physically. There is nothing more than our physical bodies and there for they can not possibly comprehend the true concept for a person going through gender identity in the form of agender/non binary.

Although there is not much that can be done to help these poor ignorant people with out having them change their entire view on life (which probably isn't all that possible and best left alone). By understanding how they see the world we may then be able to help those who see it differently and help ourself become less affected by the negative rubbish they spew on the subject.

Let us teach our children to be open minded, that a heterosexual white male is Just as important as a coloured "female born' gender fluid person who is just as important as the animals we share the planet with who are just as important as the planet we live upon and so on.

Let us teach them not to invest all their views in totality of the physical but to understand the non physical is there and important too.

Let us teach them to be better than us, so they teach their children to be better than them until the world is nothing more but love to all and peace for all.

Do not get sucked into the negative of others but invest in keeping the world growing in the right direction.
