Blended With Bended Glass

I'm just a piece of metal, alas!
Blended with bended glass.

I see your world with you,
Like a clingy bestfriend should do.

I'm here 'cause you don't have a very
Good vision, both literally and figuratively.

I help you to see them with clarity,
But alas! I can't show you their reality.

I wish you could see beneath their facades
'Cause they're fooling you since decades.

I want to be able to talk to you,
Tell you about their true hue.

But I'm just a piece of metal, alas!
Blended with bended glass.
