Cold Night

     It was calm and cold. The sky had millions of bright stars. The trees around me lightly sway back and forth. The frogs and crickets, chirped and croaked. Making the night even more beautiful. I slowly got up of the ground. I brushed of my pants and sighed. I slowly started walking back towards my house.  After a while when I got close enough I saw my mom drinking a beer through the window. I sighed and started walking toward the front door. I hesitated to grab the doorknob but then I opened it to see my mother giving me a death stare. Then I saw her tail. (PS your mom is a demon and your dad was human but you didn't get the demon part the only thing you got was your mom's strength but times two)  She doesn't show her tail unless she's mad. She started walking toward you and she slapped you across the face. It stings. You were going to hit her back when you remember that she had a gun in her back pocket. Your mother saw that you were going to hit her and reacted. She kicked you in the stomach. You fell to the ground. "Your in big trouble you mother f*cker and now I'm getting the slash!" Your mother yelled. The slash is a wipe but with nails stuck to the end. And this would be the 8th time she hit you with it. When your mother left to go get the slash and you stood up. A tear fell down your face "I can't do this anymore...I'm leaving!" You thought to yourself. You ran into the kitchen and grabbed a cookie jar. In side was $20,000. Your mom kept it there for emergency or I like to call it when she wants to give a blow job money. But anyway I grabbed the money and ran toward my room. I grabbed my backpack and put the money in. I also put two shirts, two pairs of jeans, a hoodie, and a map that I had on my desk. You zipped up the bag. Then you saw your mother in the door way. She had the slash. Her face was red with rage. "What the f*CK do you think your doing!" She screamed. I didn't say anything. Then she pulled out the gun and shot. I didn't have time to react. Then I felt a sharp pain in my right shoulder. I winched at it. I looked at my shoulder to see a small hole starting to show blood. I looked at my mother who was laughing. She slowly walked toward the door. She walked out he room and said "Have fun bleeding to death" and she locked the door behind her. I knew I didn't want to die then and there. And I wasnt going to die. I grabbed a shirt from my closet and wrapped it around the hole on my shoulder that was now gushing out blood. I tied the shirt around my shoulder and stood up. Winching at the agonizing pain in my shoulder. I walked toward my window and punched it. The window shattered. My fist started to bleed but I didn't care. I would rather die seeing the stars then in this hell hole. I crawled out of my room and toward the forest. We lived in the middle of no where so I just kept walking. After awhile I felt my self start to get weak. I looked at my shoulder and saw that the shirt was fully drenched in my blood. Then I saw it...the city. I looked at my map and saw that there was a school there called True Cross Academy. I knew this school had training go become a exorcist and I would love to be one to kill my mother and every other  demon. I thought to myself If I make out of this alive I need to start big by going there. I put my map back in my bag and started walking. Soon I was walking the streets of the city. People were giving me worried looks because of my shoulder. Soon I ended up at the hospital. When I got there nurses were surrounding me.

    Time Skip 2 hours later

After the doctor got the bullet out of my shoulder and wrapped it and my fist. He gave me medicine. I felt better. I looked out the window of my room. I was on the bottom floor. I opened my bag and grabbed $750 and put it on the table with a note that said. 'I left, sorry and thanks for the help and here is the money for helping. Bye' I put it on the table and walked toward the window. I opened it and jumped out. I started walking toward the academy. I was nervous but happy. And while walking there all I could think about was that it was a Cold Night in the city.
