The Miko,Her Lost Love, and Power

Ch 1: The Day Before Heartbreak

Sesshomaru pov:

I smell the Hanyou and the Miko, that's when I decided I shall fight Inuyasha for the tetsusaiga just to see her. I don't understand why but when I first saw her my beast yearned for her, like she was my mate but at the time all I wanted was  tetsusaiga and I didn't want her, I still don't really know what I want, just that my beast wants her. Now I fight Inuyasha just because my beast wants to see her.

When I got there Inuyasha yells "What do you want Sesshomaru!!"

I say " I want tetsusaiga because you are not worthy to have it in your possession."

The Hanyou says "You can't even hold it because of the barrier."

With an expressionless face I say, "Hand it over half-demon."

But really the whole time I was looking at Kagome as she was looking shocked and ready to protect Inuyasha. Me and the hanyou started to battle. I elegantly dodge all of his attacks, I start to win and at that exact moment she shot a sacred arrow. I dodge it and looked at her with my expressionless face and it seems she got scared.

In a monotone voice I say "hn" and leave.

When im back at camp, Rin yells " Lord Sesshomaru!!", while Jaken says, "Mi Lord". As Rin hugs my legs, I say" get fire wood Jaken" in a monotone voice as he leaves I start to think about why this is happening.

Kagome pov:

I'm so confused why did Sesshomaru come here for the tetsusaiga and have a short battle then leave. The ice prince seems like he didn't really care for the fight I think as I'm pondering on that, Inuyasha says, " I'm hungry Kagome, when are you gonna make something to eat."

I say , "I will now since it's late and after we eat we can all sleep."

He says, " can you make some ramen??"

I say "yes Inuyasha," while rolling my eyes.

Like seriously when is he never hungry. I get my supplies out of my back pack while still pondering on why Sesshomaru did that, it was like he only wanted to see something. Hmm I wonder. I finish making the food and passing out bowls to everyone. We all start to talk about naraku and getting the rest of the jewel shards.

I say," it's weird we haven't saw naraku in a while."

Miroku says," your right Kagome this is starting to get a little strange."

Sango, Shippo and the rest of us agrees. After we talk about his we go to sleep.

I wake up a little too early and notice that Inuyasha is gone, I went to look for him but couldn't find him so I came back and laid down. By the time I had awoken again he was there looking a little guilty. I just guessed he must've saw Kikyo again and my heart started to hurt so I push that thought to the back of my head. I start making breakfast for every to push the thought away.

Inuyasha's pov:

As Kagome awakens I look at her with guilty eyes. She noticed and I saw her eyes show a little hurt in them and then it disappears. Last night I smelled Kikyo's scent and so I left to go find her.

Flashback:

Kikyo says, "please leave inuyasha you love my reincarnation."

"No, never!!" I yelled at kikyo.

She sighs and says,"Don't lie to me inuyasha."

She starts to back away against a tree so I ran to her stopping her from leaving.

I tell her," I love you and only you, forever, youre the only one in my heart."

"But...what about her we can never be together if she's around."says kikyo in a sad soft voice.

"In a couple days I will deal with her, I will make her leave so you can help me with this task to kill naraku and collect jewel shards." She smiles and kisses him goodbye for now.

End of Flashback

If I'm going to be honest with myself, I love kikyo so much and I believe I only had Kagome around because she looks like her, but now that I have kikyo I don't need Kagome. I don't want Kagome to be suspicious just yet so I'll just play it off for now. As I was thinking I see Kagome smiling and making breakfast, then I think yea I should wait to tell her to leave and never come back.
