Ch 8: Traveling Together

Kagome's POV

I thought it would be a lot more calming traveling with everyone but turns out it was just very irritating. All I wanted was peace and quiet but no everyone was bickering, playing, being loud, annoying, or just throwing low blows. I don't think I can take much more of it.

"Miroku, stop touching me," Sango says with a scowl.
"Come on Sango, will you have my babies," Miroku says with a perverted face and dreamy smile.

"Come and get me Shippo," laughed Rin.
"Okay, here I come," he starts chasing Rin.

Now they're running around me in circles.

"Oh, you think you're high and mighty huh Sesshomaru," Inuyasha says with a 'oh you think you better than me look'. "Quit ignoring me, I'm talking to you," then he pulls out tetsaiga and threatens Sesshomaru.

Sesshomaru pulls out his sword prepared to fight. At this point I'm done I've had enough.

"Everyone be quiet, and Inuyasha, sit boy!" I say with an angry face.

They were all startled when I yelled at them but Sesshomaru only kind of showed it with his eyes. I just left them like that because I can't take their presence right now.

Why can't they get along it's not hard. All of them act like they dont know what teamwork is. I can't stand this, maybe we should separate the group again. There is no point of being together if no one can get along.

I really wanted to be able to have the best of both worlds but I guess there's only so much you can get out of life. Maybe we can try again later but separating might be for the best.

I finally find the hot spring I was looking for, so I can relax. I felt myself trying to change from them being so stressful and we can't have that happen.

After about twenty minutes Sango came to join me in the hot spring. She was very worried about me and I really wanted to tell everyone about the changes I'm going through but it has to wait because of Naraku.

"Kagome, are you okay?" says Sango in concern.
"Yea, I'm okay Sango, I just wanted us traveling together to go a lot better than its going." I say sadly.

"Yea, it does seem like everyone is a doing a lot all at once," Sango says thoughtfully. 

"Hey, Sango do you think its best that we just split up again and then come back together later on ?" I question. 

"Hmm, I think either way it'll be the same outcome and things will only improve if we are together a lot more," she said sweetly.

"You know what you're right Sango," I say excitedly. "the only way they'll learn how to get along well with each other is by being around each other, kind of like me and Inuyasha," I say happily. "Thanks Sango," I say gratefully. 

Sango gets up to leave me to my thoughts while she heads back to the group. I decided that it's better for us to learn how to be a group together instead of just being separate groups. We will get things done ten times faster and Rin and Shippo will have someone to play with. We can all make this work I know we can, I feel like I was worried for nothing. I need to apologize for yelling at them it was wrong of me and I feel bad. 

I decide its time for me to head back to the group and apologize for my behavior. A lot of things have been getting to me and I need to calm down. While walking back I think about Azul and Yvonne and when I'm going to see them again. So far there has been no changes to my appearance or power, just an attitude change. Well, I'm finally back to the others here goes nothing.

"Hey guys," I wave sheepishly.

Most of them said Hi Kagome while Inuyasha and Jaken looked at me with a mug on their faces and Sesshomaru just looked at me.

"Guys, I wanted to apologize for yelling at you, it was wrong of me to get upset over something simple," I say while looking at my feet. "I could've asked you guys politely but instead I yelled and for that I apologize," I say while looking at all of them.

"It's okay Kagome, we forgive you," Shippo and Rin say while running over to hug me.

Sango and Miroku both said it's okay while Inuyasha just humphed and turned around. Sesshomaru gave me a nod and Jaken mumbled something about me being a puny human.

We continued on our way to find the jewel shards, taking breaks in between, so far we haven't found anything. It's starting to get late and its almost time for us to stop and set up camp some where. 

Well today wasn't very productive so hopefully tomorrow will be better. We set up camp, eat, and go to sleep for the night.
