Return to School

(Shadow's P.O.V)

     It was Monday and we had just from break so today was going to be an even day. I hate even days cause of Spanish, even though I only went to five to ten classes before Mrs. Pridemore and I started talking on even days. I hope today goes good and I won't have any trouble, but knowing my luck there will be something that goes wrong. I walked to my first period class to see no one in here yet so I sat in my desk and thought back to when I lost my left arm. 'Damn that hurt but at least Mother Nature is looking out for me,' I thought.

     I stopped thinking when a blade was an inch away from my face. I looked up to see Ethan standing there. and to see a very familiar symbol on his chest. He said, ''Come battle me Logan at the end of the school day.''

     Then he disappeared and everyone else came into the room. That's when some idiot punched me on the cheek and I didn't react. All I did was look to the left and said, ''You mind taking your fist off my cheek before something bad happens.''

''Why would I you're just a freak,'' He said.

''And there's the line that gets everyone almost killed,'' I said.

     Before he could register what I said his shoulder ended up bleeding and he fell backwards to the ground. 'I didn't move a single muscle and he still ended up bleeding from his shoulder.' I thought.

     Everyone else saw what happened and didn't say a single thing about what happened. I didn't move so they have no proof of it being me.

    Just a minute later class started, and the idiot who punched ended up in the hospital. 'Not my fault he's the one who attacked me,' I thought.

    As I thought back on things my pen wrote every note we had to take which was a page and a half. Then we finished with the notes and were given work sheets. Of course i din't do mine I let my pen do the writing for me cause I was too busy thinking about what could in this fight with Ethan.

    As my pen finished I turned the paper in and waited for the bell to ring. I stood next to my desk thinking about how much Erica has changed from when I first met her. Then I heard Trevor ask, ''How did you lose your arm?''

''I lost it in a battle,'' I said.

''Had to happen some time this past week right?'' He asked.

''Yeah,'' I said.

    Then the bell rang and I grabbed my bag and binder going to my second period class. I walked to second period surrounded by idiots and dumb asses who wanted to fight me. So in return I told them, ''You fight me you die.''

    That got them off of my back and I continued walking to class. I was stopped once when the everyone started running and someone was in front of a monster. 'Damn it who is it this time,' I thought.

    That's when I saw Cassidi on the floor in front of the monster and she was screaming. I said, ''Damn it.''

     Without a second of hesitation I slashed my finger with Ryujin and pointed my hand outwards. I said, ''Gran Ray Cero.''

    A purple ball appeared and I disappeared before reappearing in front of the monster blasting him to nothing with my attack. Then I turned around to see Cassidi standing up and the cut on my finger healed. I asked, ''You okay?''

''Yeah and thanks for saving me,'' She said.

''No problem just doing what I normally do,'' I said.

''So you do this on a normal basis?'' She asked.

''Yeah, what class do you have now?'' I asked.
