I walked up and down the rows of sleeping men. I sighed heavily reaching the door. I gently played with the boots strands of my hair as I left the quiet room.
"Hey." I jumped as I was pulled from my own thoughts. I smiled seeing it was only my best friend. "You okay?" She whispered.  I nodded rubbing my arm. I looked up as she placed her hand on my shoulder "it's ok, you're still young today was tough."
"I think I'm just, gonna go for a walk."
"Is that the best idea?"
"I'll be fine. Go back to bed."
"Ok. Remember I'm here for you."
I smiled "Night Lauren." I smiled leaving her side.

I stepped outside. I closed my eyes gently breathing in heavily. The cries of brace men haunted my mind. I listened to the night as I walked further from the station. I slowly entered the forest. It wasn't the safest thing but i couldn't stay there. A blood curling shriek filled the air echoing the silence. I looked back at the station. Bullets flew through the air The ground shookI looked back as it erupted into flames "LAUREN!" I screamed.
I raced through the forest ducking thorny branches. I ran down a steep hill stumbling into a ditch. Suddenly everything stopped.
