What if ~

If dreams weren't far out of reach

and answers ; so easily found

would faithfully hoping make my speech,

any different to how my thoughts may sound?

If strength came easy and loving was hard

and moments like this felt right

would keeping my feelings on such high guard

make my smiles more genuine and bright?

If forever made sense and the promises we break,

had meaningful reasons why

Would the heart warming; memories we make

not drift into the time passing by?

If confidence came with the mirror's view

and tears not easily found

would everything I love be closer to get to

and be faithful to the people around?

What if the truth didn't hurt so much?

and reality never snatched your hopes away

Would all our dreams be closer to touch?

and those three little words be easy to say?

So of dreams were instant and answers came easy

what lesson would life have taught?

for patience is still running it's journey

with lasting happiness at it's halt :)
