jaeyoon woke up with a start in the middle of the night, because he heard something he hadn't heard in a while.

inseong crying was a sadly familiar noise, and jaeyoon had been used to not hearing it for a few days.

"baby, what's wrong?" jaeyoon asked worriedly as he got out of his bed and kneeled down next to inseong (who had recently started sleeping on a mattress next to jaeyoon's bed).

"i-i'm fine.. go back to sleep.." inseong sniffed as he quickly dried his tears with his blanket, "i'll be okay."

jaeyoon reached over, hugging inseong. "no, you're not. please tell me what's going on?"

inseong took a deep breath, "i just keep thinking.. what if i'm found? what if i'm arrested? what do you think would happen? what if i died? what if-"

inseong was interrupted by jaeyoon holding the back of his neck and pulling him in for a soft kiss, not separating for a good while.

"inseong, i would never let that happen to you, okay? now please stop worrying, you know you always have me." jaeyoon said, giving inseong a warm smile and getting back into his bed.

"jaeyoon?"

"yeah?"

"i love you"

"i love you too"
