"jaeyoon explain yourself right now!"

"i-i'm sorry.."

the memory played on repeat in jaeyoon's head, over and over again, even while jaeyoon cried himself to sleep, he couldn't forgive himself.

he remembered it like it was yesterday. then he recalled, it was yesterday.

in the morning, jaeyoon woke up next to inseong, the two of them snuggled together seemed perfect. inseong kissed jaeyoon for what seemed like the first time. it would also turn out to be the last.

jaeyoon's mother walked into the room, utterly disgusted and worried at the sight she saw when she entered the room.

also furious, she picked up a book and hit inseong with it. once across the face, once in the stomach. inseong coughed, looking at jaeyoon and his mother with fear in his eyes. "not again.." he thought, sprinting for his life out of the house and onto the street.

jaeyoon was speechless. what just happened? everything was going perfect, even though it was a secret. why did it have to end like that?

jaeyoon couldn't stand thinking about what happened, how he never got to apologise or say goodbye, how he watched inseong get hit, how jaeyoon did nothing to save the boy he loved.

his mother and father hadn't spoken to him since, and he had stayed in his bedroom all day, reminiscing the months he had spent with inseong.

"i gave you love, why were you taken away from me?"
