Tuno's POV

I laid Shiro down in his bed shortly after he fell asleep. Sometime after I had healed him, Yuki woke up, and I explained everything to him. Why the Demons attacked him, who he was, and why I had kept him away from his father for so long.

"Mama, I'm hungry." Yuki whined, pulling on the end of my shirt.

I picked him up and carried him to the kitchen. I sat him on one of the bar stools right as Yukio walked through the door. He smiled when he saw Yuki.

"Hey, Son. How do you feel?" He asked.

"I'm fine, Dad."

Yukio walked up to me and wrapped his arms around me. "Rin really wants to see you. I told him about the boys, and he got overjoyed." He whispered.

"He has to wait. Shiro fell asleep, and I don't want Yuki stressing over meeting people right now."

"Okay."

I made Yuki his favorite salad, and he smiled at me. "Thanks, Mama."

Yukio chuckled when I looked at him. "He is definitely mine. Rin doesn't eat salad."

"I never slept with Rin, you Idiot." I snapped.

"What's got you in a bad mood?" He asked, concern plastering his face.

"Mama is always in a bad mood. She is only nice when she talks to me and Shi." Yuki answered.

"Shi?" Yukio raised an eyebrow at him.

"It's what he calls Shiro. You have to remember, Yukio, I cut off the o in Yuki's name so I wouldn't be reminded of you. Yuki did the same with Shiro's name." I said, not looking at him.

I made myself a salad, and I looked at him.

"You hungry?" I asked.

"Hm? Oh. No. I'm good." He replied.

"Sit." I ordered, pointing to the chair next to the one I usually sit on.

"I said I'm not hungry."

"And I said sit."

He sighed and sat on the stool I had pointed at. He looked at my hand, and he caught sight of my ring before he pushed my hand away.

"When did you take the ring from me?" He asked.

"I grabbed it from your pocket when you weren't looking. I got curious about the diamond, so I put it on after I looked." I shrugged.

"You pick-pocketed it?"

"Yeah. So?"

"That's wrong."

"It's mine anyway. I basically stole it from you so I could put it on."

I sat a plate down in front of him. His favorite sandwich was on it.

"You didn't have to go through so much trouble to make me a sandwich." He said.

"Shut up and eat." I answered, sitting next to him.

Yuki tugged on my shirt. "Mama, can I have some more?"

Yukio grabbed his bowl before I could and got to his feet.

"Leave out the tomatoes, and make sure you put extra celery in it. That's how he likes it." I said, taking a bite of my own salad.

I eyed Yukio's sandwich. I licked my finger and barely even touched the bread.

"Stop that. You aren't a child anymore, Tuno. Quit acting like one." Yukio scolded me.

"It was five years ago when I did that, so you can't say anything about it." I hissed.

Yuki gladly took the bowl of salad from his father, and he began eating again. Yukio sat down and looked at me.

"What?" He asked.

"Hm? Oh. Nothing." I answered.

I took a bite of my salad at the same time as he bit into his sandwich. We both swallowed, and Yuki laughed.

"You and Papa both move like you're one person." He laughed.

"Quit joking around and eat, Dork." I said.

Yukio tapped my shoulder, and I looked at him. He placed his hand down one the back of my stool and kissed me. His lips were warm as they moved against mine. He pulled away and smiled at me. I merely went back to eating. He chuckled and did the same.

"Cheater." I mumbled.

"What?" He retorted, looking at me again.

"Cheater!" I said louder.

"How am I a cheater?"

"Because you beat me to it."

"To what?"

"Nothing." I muttered, taking a bite of salad.

Yuki jumped down from his stool and tried to reach for his bowl. I rolled my eyes, grabbed it, and gave it to him. He went around the bar and went directly to the sink.

"When did you teach him to put his bowl in the sink?" Yukio asked.

"I didn't. He's been doing that since he was three." I answered.

Yuki went into the living room once his bowl was in the sink. I finished my salad, and Yukio grabbed my bowl. He got to his feet and placed it in the sink. I rolled my eyes and waited for him to sit back down again.

He looked at me when I tapped his shoulder. He almost jumped when I kissed him. He growled when I laid my hand on his neck. He turned in his chair so he was facing me, and he reached out. He grabbed onto my waist and made me stand up. It only made the kiss easier.

"Damn." He muttered, his lips still touching mine.

He got to his feet and wrapped his arms around me. I locked my arms around his neck, and he deepened the kiss. He pulled away when one of the boys screamed.

"Shi!" Yuki yelled, running to his room.

"Should we......?" Yukio trailed off.

"Yuki knows how to cheer Shiro up." I answered.

He smiled at me and pressed his lips to mine.
