Tuno's POV

"Smile."

"No."

"Smile."

"I said no."

"And I said smile."

"Ouch!"

I glared at Yukio. We were driving to the Cram School, the boys fast asleep in the back seat. Yukio had his hand on my knee, his grip tightening every second.

"Let go!" I growled under my breath.

"Smile first."

"No. Let go."

"Not until you smile."

He almost screamed when I bit his arm.

"You know, you act like a child when you don't get your way. You know that, don't you?" He asked, grabbing a napkin from the glove compartment.

"Stop moving around so much. Focus on the road." I answered, ignoring what he said.

I took the napkin from him and held it to his arm so he didn't have to. Blood soaked through it, forming the shape of the bite mark.

"Yukio?"

"What is it now?"

"I'm sorry I bit you."

"You should be. Your teeth hurt like hell."

"You hurt me, too! My knee is my weak point! I told you that seven years ago!"

"How am I supposed to remember something from seven years ago?"

I mumbled under my breath and removed the napkin. I grabbed a new one, held it to my tongue for a second, and placed it over his wound. His muscles tensed up when the small flames hidden in my saliva touched his arm, but he soon relaxed. The wound healed partly.

"Here we go." He whispered, his eyes focused on his side of the car. I followed his gaze to see a group of people standing in the school parking lot a good fifty feet away from the car. Yukio had parked so his side of the car was seen.

"Yuki? Shiro? Wake up. Yuki, wake up."

They both groaned and opened their eyes. Yukio got out, and I did the same. Yuki and Shiro both stumbled out, groggy and tired.

"Look!" A girl yelled.

Shiemi!

I walked with Shiro until we reached the other side of the car. As soon as he was with Yukio, I transformed into a full grown cat and ran to the people ahead.

"Tuno!" Rin cheered when he saw me.

I got closer, transformed into myself, and hugged him. He laughed and spun me around. As soon as he placed me on my feet, I looked at the blonde girl.

"Shiemi!" I screamed, hugging her.

"Yuki! Get off of him!" Yukio yelled.

I released Shiemi and turned to look at my son. His body was engulfed in the dark black flames I had seen on his brother. Under him was Shiro, pinned to the ground by his younger brother. I transformed into a tiger and ran over to them. Yuki saw me, and he growled. He lunged at me, and I could see the wild darkness in his eyes.

We wrestled for a few minutes, and he eventually pinned me down after he somehow got me to transform back into my human self. I screamed in agony when his claws dug into my skin, and he growled. He bit my neck, making me bleed, and I screamed louder.

Rin pulled Yuki off and pinned him to the ground. The weak little boy thrashed and clawed at the air in front of him. Rin held the blade of his sword to his neck.

"No! Don't!" I begged.

He looked at me. "This thing tried to kill you!"

"That's my son!" I barked.

The word he used to describe, 'thing', felt like a knife to the heart.

"This monster is your son?"

"He doesn't know how to control himself, Idiot! Don't you remember how I kept losing control of myself and attacked whoever got close to me?"

Yuki slowly stopped, and his flames disappeared. Once he saw the blade of Rin's sword close to his neck, he started crying. I got to my feet, shoved Rin away, and grabbed onto Yuki. He saw the bite mark and the holes where his claws were, and he cried harder.

"It's okay. Don't cry." I whispered.

He sniffed and wiped his tears away. He looked at Rin. I smiled when he looked at me, confused.

"Yuki, that's Papa's brother. His name is Rin." I explained.

Rin's tail curled up at the end. Yuki smiled slightly and waved.

"Hi, Uncle Rin. My name is Yukio, but Mama, Papa, and Shi call me Yuki." He said.

Shiro stood beside me and grabbed onto the sleeve of my shirt. "I'm Shiro. Yuki calls me Shi."

I put Yuki on his feet and got to my own. Yukio stood behind me and slipped his arms around my waist.

"Yukio, I didn't think you had it in you!" Rin laughed.

"Shut up." Yukio answered.

I smiled when Shiro and Yuki looked at us.

"Mama, can we transform like you?" They asked together.

"I don't know. Think about running the way a cat does. Imagine yourself on your hands and feet, running with a tail in the wind behind you." I said.

Yuki immediately turned into a kitten. I smiled and transformed into a full grown cat. He mewed and rubbed against me. Shiro frowned and looked at Yukio.

"I can't do it, Papa." He mumbled.

"Think about soaring with the wind. You may have a different demonic animal within you." I said.

He closed his eyes, and he transformed into a small bird. I smiled and he flapped his tiny wings. He perched himself on my head.

"You, Son, have the Demon of a warrior within you. You transformed into a Shade Hawk, which makes you an extremely graceful fighter." I said.

I looked at Yuki, and he stood in front of me. I wrapped my tail around my paws, and it draped over his as well.

"You, Yuki, have the Demon of a gentle warrior within you. All Cat Siths have a warrior that will not fight without a reason until they hit the age of sixteen. When you hit that age, you will be able to transform into a fierce Tiger, and you will not hesitate to attack." I meowed.
