Tuno's POV

Yukio walked out of the room when his phone rang. I sat on the floor with Shiro and stared at Yuki. Shiro started trembling, so I pulled him into my arms. We both watched Yuki as he slept.

"Will he really be okay?" Shiro asked.

"He is a tough little boy. I'm sure he will make it."

I looked at Yukio when he cleared his throat. He stood in the doorway.

"The others want to see you and the boys." He said.

"Not while Yuki is hurt." I answered.

"That's what I told them."

He walked toward me and sat down next to me. "I have to go perform an Exorcism. I'll be back in an hour. Don't let the boys go outside until I get back. I want to make sure those birds were the only ones." He said.

"Okay."

He looked at Shiro and smiled. "Be good for your mother, Shiro."

"Okay, Papa."

Yukio pulled me to my feet and out of the room. Shiro stayed beside his brother. Yukio closed the door to the room when we got into the hall.

"Use your flames on Yuki. I know you can heal with them. It might be the only way to help him." He said.

I nodded once, and he pulled me closer. He kissed my forehead and hugged me.

"I'll be back soon." He murmured.

I stood beside Yuki's bed. Shiro looked at me and gasped. My ears were longer and pointed, my teeth were as sharp as daggers, and my nails were exactly like cat claws. My skin had turned black down to my elbows, and there were black spots a but after the end of it.

"M-Mama?" Shiro asked.

I looked at him and smiled. I held one hand palm up, and a small amount of black flames burned above my palm. I lifted the other hand to see more flames. I placed my hands on Yuki's small torso, and he groaned.

"Stop! You're hurting him!" Shiro hissed, hitting his wooden sword against my leg.

He gasped when my tail wrapped around it and pulled it from his grip. Yuki screamed in agony, but I could see the temptaint slowly disappear. When it became only a small flesh wound, I lifted my hands. Yuki was covered in sweat, and his breathing was hard.

I looked at Shiro again to see that he looked exactly like how I was now.

"What did you do to my brother?" He snapped.

His flames were dark blue, and his eyes were as bright as Yukio's. I started laughing when he growled.

"You aren't very intimidating, Prince Shiro." I laughed.

"P-Prince?"

I got on my knees and laid my hands on his shoulders. "Papa and I told you about the four of us being demons. We never told you how the Demons saw us."

"What do you mean?"

"Well, Papa is the son of the strongest Demon out there."

"Who's that?"

"Satan."

Shiro's eyes widened. "How do they see you?"

"That is a bit harder to explain. I'm on a lower level of the Demon scale, but I'm still stronger than Papa. Even in his Demon form, he can't come close to hurting me."

"Who are you, Mama?"

"I am Tuno Hicachi, Goddess of the Night. I create all Shade Demons."

At my words, Covu appeared in his kitten form and meowed at Shiro. Shiro dropped to his knees, and Covu curled into a ball in his lap.

"This is Covu. He was the first Cat Sith I made." I explained.

"Can I keep him as a pet?"

"If you take care of him, you can."

"Is this how he always looks like?"

"Do you remember that big cat that caught Yuki?"

"That big black tiger?"

"That was Covu."
