Not Too Late for Hatano Wataru Part 2

You were outside a cake shop, trying to call Hatano for almost 10 minutes. Since you wanted to buy a cake for your best friend, you wanted to ask what flavor he wanted, but he wasn't answering. You were with Atsushi-sensei, waiting for the other teachers. You were supposed to meet at 1pm, but Atsushi-sensei thought that it was 11am, so both of you arrived earlier than expected. In the end, you two decided to go around first.

"He has no schedule today. Is he still sleeping?" You asked yourself and sighed.

"Is something wrong, sensei? You look pale" Atsushi-sensei approached you

You tilted your head, and crossed your arms, having a deep thought "Pale? Don't tell me..."

"What's wrong?"

"No... I am just trying to call someone" you answered in low voice and again called him, and finally he answered "Ah, Wataru, did I wake you up?"

"What's up, (F/N)?" He asked in a hoarse voice "Sorry, I just woke up"

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah, why?"

"No... nothing... I'd like to ask if what flavor of cake do you want" You asked and could hear his cat from the background

"Something that is not too sweet" He answered still in low hoarse voice "Aren't you with your colleagues? You should enjoy your time with them"

"No... Actually-"

"Anyway, enjoy your time. I need to hang up now. See you later" He didn't let you finish and just ended the call. 

You sighed and stared at your phone once it was ended "What's with him? Seriously?!"

"Let's go and buy cake, sensei. Its almost 1pm" You heard Atsushi-sensei and just nodded as response

On the other hand, after ending the call, Hatano covered himself under his blanket, feeling cold. 

"Ah, my head hurts" He groaned as he try not to move. His cat, Mugi-chan, approached him and meowed in low voice "Mugi-chan, I'm sorry I can't bring you to the veterinary today." He peeked on the blanket and his cat rested above his head. Mugi-chan again meowed that made Hatano chuckled "I can't ask (F/N) since she is busy with her colleagues. Good thing that she isn't alone with that sensei" 

He sighed and closed his eyes while caressing Mugi-chan's back. "I'm so hopeless, having fever from over thinking"

He then doze off back to sleep, having fever and head ache.

Hatano didn't know how long he fell asleep. He noticed a faint smell coming from his kitchen. His eyes turned towards his digital wall clock beside his door, and saw that it was passed 1:32 in the afternoon.

"I didn't sleep that much" he mumbled as he sat down, but then he was surprised once a towel fall from his forehead

"Ah, perfect timing, you should eat this now" his eyes widened once your voice entered the room, holding a bowl of porridge in your hands. You put it down on his side table and then check his temperature first "its finally going down. You should eat now and drink your medicine, then rest"

"What is this? A hallucination? A dream?" He asked in disbelief 

"Huh?! Are you still sleeping?" You sighed and before feeding him, you made sure it wasn't that hot "come one, ahhh..!"
