"Matsuri event?" I asked my bestfriend who invited me once she entered my room. "why? It's my precious vacation though" I reasoned out, lying on my bed, busy reading a fashion magazine I saw in the living room. I am studying in Tokyo, and for summer vacation I went back to my hometown to relax.

"Why? Well, I know that its your precious vacation, but come on! Its been a while since you return here! We haven't seen each other for I couldn't remember how many months. Let's go and have fun. Don't you feel stress in your school? You are in an idol school, so at least go out sometimes and expand your horizon. You need to have a social life here in your hometown. Also, don't you miss me?!" She started nagging, but that made me realized that she was indeed right.

I am not really a shy person, Just, I only knew few people here in my hometown and I am socially awkward person.

However, I entered an idol school because my father told me to do so. I didn't have any problem with that, but he told me to enter there without any expectation that I would be an idol.

"I understand, I'll go" I complied that made her cheered, confusing me though because she was unexpectedly happy

I wore my favorite yukata as I walked down the busy road towards the matsuri event, my bestfriend was very persistent for me to wear a yukata.

Anyways, there were lots of people walking towards the matsuri event. And they were all in group, wearing colorful and traditional yukatas. The guys were wearing casual clothing, but still presentable in the eyes.

I stood near the bridge as I waited for my bestfriend. I watched people passed by, couples giggling at each other, holding each other. Group of friends laughing, complimenting each other's yukata. But honestly, the surrounding was really loud.

"Ah! Its Souma-kun!" I turned to a group of girls standing near where I was standing. Their cheeks that had make-up became redder as they squealed with each other.

"He is here! He is really so handsome!" They giggled. I looked towards the direction where they were looking at, and there were guys walking in a group, and they were approaching where I was standing.

Which one is that Souma-kun that is making these girls go wild?

The group of guys stopped just next to where I was standing, as if I wasn't there. I felt awkward all of a sudden since the girls were all looking at our direction.

"Are we still waiting for someone?" I heard one of them asked

"We just need to wait for (bestfriend's name) and her friends to arrive"

I coughed hearing my bestfriend's name, and gazed away when they looked at me. I felt sweat since two from their group approached me.

"Hi, are you alone?" They asked and their tone suddenly changed; they were obviously flirting. "Do you want to hang out with us?"

"Guys stop it."

When he said that, I knew my heart skip a bit. I never heard such very comforting voice

"Souma, don't break the fun." The two guys who approached me laughed. Ah, so he was that Souma. He had a very unique face compare to others, and indeed the most distinguishable guy among them. No doubt why girls fawn over him. You would be easily caught by his handsome feature.

"You guys really don't change at all. But leave her now. She looks in trouble" the guy named Souma sighed as he bowed down towards me "I apologize for them"
