Adrien had no clue what had happened.

The changing occurred gradually.

First he had grew little cat ears.
Then the tail...
Then he started to shrink..
Grow more hair...

And in one weeks time, Adrien Agreste had become a Cat.

Marinette doodled aimlessly. She was siting on her desk, trying to design something, but nothing!

A single tear slid down her cheek.

It had been almost two weeks since Adrien had went missing.

At first, almost everyone in town went psyco looking for him. Police were knocking down everyone's doors and helicopter engines filled the night sky.

But no trace of the blond model.

After a week, everyone began to give up, but not Marinette. She spent every second she could searching Paris for her love.

But no sign.

Marinette was in despair. Where was he? What had happened to Adrien!

Marinette was sad and broken. She wanted someone she could just hug and cry and rant to. Someone who could comfort her. She had Alya but stopped going to her after a week. She didn't want to annoy her.

She prayed that she would find someone. Someone who could make her happy again because her heart was temporarily destroyed in Adrien's absence.

Adding onto the Adrien problem, no one had been akumatised for those 2 weeks..

Oh no! Was Adrien Akumatised? She wondered what had happened..

"Tikki do you think he was akumatised?" She asked her Kawamii, who was sitting on her shoulder trying to comfort her.

"It's possible, but wouldn't there  be some sign of him? He would want your Miraculous after all. Unless Hawkmoth is planning something.." Tikki wondered.

Marinette shot up, tears streaming.
"Then I have to save him! Who knows what Hawkmoth is doing to him!"

"No Marinette your parents..They said they wanted to talk to you after they close the bakery, they'll be up here any minute!" Tikki squeaked.

Marinette wiped her nose.
"But Adrien!" She sniffled.

She heard a knock on her door and Tikki flew away.

"Marinette.." She heard her mother call.

"Y-yes Maman." Marinette tried to control her breathing.

The trapdoor slowly opened and her parents heads popped up, worry plastered on their face. Her father was holding a cardboard box with circular holes around the edges.

Marinette gave in and ran to her parents, fresh tears staining her cheeks. Her parents pulled her into a group hug.

"It'll be alright Marinette..we know how much you care for him." Sabine rubbed her back.

Marinette pulled away, wiped her eyes before pointing to the box.

"What's that?" She asked curiously.

A soft meow was heard from it.

"Did the box just 'meow?'" Marinette couldn't help but giggle.

Her father handed her the box.

"Look inside." He smiled.

She slowly removed the lid which opened to an adorable black cat, with gorgeous green eyes. It was huddled into the corner. When it saw Marinette, it tilted its head curiously.

"It's adorable!" Marinette squealed happily, momentarily forgetting about Adrien. Only momentarily. She remembered Adrien's sweet smile and tears blurred her vision.

She put her hands into the box and carefully grabbed the fluffy kitty and lifted it up out of the box. The cat began to hiss and scratch, but stopped when Marinette gently held it in her arms, cradling the cat. She snuggled her head into it's soft fur, tears absorbing in its fur. The kitty seemed to snuggle its head into Marinette's chest. Already feeling affectionate for the cat, she scratched under it chin, causing the cat to purr.

"We found the poor thing on the streets. We fought you could care for it until we find its owner." Sabine smiled.

Marinette  began to play with the little adorable bell around the cats fury neck.

"Does it have a name?" Marinette asked delighted but yet, sadness was noticeable under her gleeful tone. But she was happy nonetheless, she had always wanted a pet.

"As far as I'm concerned, no. All it had was the bell." Tom smiled, happy his daughter was smiling for the first time in weeks.

"Then I shall call it..hmm" She stared into its green eyes, melting at the cats cuteness overload.

The green eyes reminded her of a certain cat..

"Kitty Noir!"
