This is Velvet. She is my female leopard gecko (commonly called Leos by reptile owners) and she is nearly two years old at the time of writing, (July 2017). In the picture above she had decided to try and hide under a small sea shell. I got her in early December 2015 from a reptile specialist centre and therefore I know her to be thoroughbred. (morph is the name given to the pattern of a particular reptile, usually geckos or snakes). I have looked to try and find her morph and the results have been exciting. From all of the morph guides and tables I have studied I think she is a rare quarter carrot tail x lemon frost, worth over £350! I got her from the specialist reptile centre for £35 so she was a bargain. She also is a Godzilla super giant (meaning she has a strand of giantism). She measures at 12 1/2 inches and 134 grams last month (April 2017) and she is still juvenile.I have no plans to breed or sell her.

Geckos.
Non-FictionThis is all about geckos, with two sections on my own lizards. I have tried to lists as many geckos as possible although the chapters are short. Enjoy!
