Schlegel's Japanese Gecko is a most common gecko in Japan. They are found in Japan, South Korea and China.

In Japan, Geckos are well respected by people. Because they live human's house and eat bugs which do something bad for people. So, old Japanese people named this Gecko "YAMORI" which means house guardian. That's why nobody kills this lovely Gecko here.

Mostly they live in structures built by people. Conversely, it's hard to find them in the forest. They are often found around the light at night. Because it is kind of easy to catch some bugs for them.

Sorry guys, this is the only info I could find on these geckos. :(
