It was simple.

Simple and perfect.

I said a simple prayer thanking my seventh grade science teacher, Mr. Burns, for teaching me how to make the world's best coke and mentos bomb in the history of ever. Next to my attic window, I had about 5 bottles in my arsenal, thanks to Cassie's incredibly stocked fridge. I felt goosebumps crawl up my arm with the realization of what I was about to do. I was Lily Harper. The quiet girl in class who hardly spoke a word and kept to herself. The incredibly uncoordinated, unathletic girl who could never serve a volleyball to save her life. But this Lily Harper was about to turn into someone else. I was Lily Harper, the girl who was going to momentarily crash her rich best friend's birthday party so she could find the secret boy in the woods.

Damn, that sounded hot.

I took a deep breath before I chickened out, and grasped the first bottle, mentos dangling on a string from the cap. I counted to three in my head, and threw the coke as far as I could, watching it explode on the dessert table. Some girls screamed, watching as they got coke sprayed all over their party dresses. I threw the second and third in opposite directions while they exploded in the flower garden and caused chaos as the guys went around with looks of confusion on their faces, wondering which one of them was pulling the prank. As soon as the last bottle was out the window, I grabbed my bag and took off running down the stairs and out into the party, unnoticed as everyone tried to stop the current disaster of mento bombs.

Unnoticed as I slipped through the unblocked gates and into the woods once more.

To find Zach.
