A/N: I drew Alex in science class because why not?

"Lafayette?" Hercules asked, walking alongside the french fry who was in the front of the group, leading the way. The rest trailed behind, the sisters and Maria chatting aimlessly about something. John keeping his eyes on the trail ahead of him. Alexander as quiet as a goddamn mouse. Lafayette hadn't said a word about where they were going or how far it was. Not that it mattered, Hercules would follow Lafayette anywhere. Of course, he'd never admit that.

"Oui?" He turned his head to look at Hercules, but still walked the same direction.

"Where are we going?"

"Non mon ami, Monsieur Alexander asked me to keep it secret," Hercules already knew he would get that answer before he even asked.

If he was being honest, he only really wanted an excuse to talk to the man.

"So, Lafayette," Hercules began, trying to find something to say. "Y-You have a girlfriend?" Hercules internally slapped himself for asking such an awkward question.

Lafayette threw his head back in laughter. "Non, I don't, how you say, swing that way," Hercules was so startled by Lafayette's words that he didn't see the giant tree root ahead of him.

So he tripped.

And landed flat on his face.

"Monsieur Hercules!" Lafayette crouched down to wear Hercules was, on the ground covering his face, trying to hide from the massive embarrassment thrust upon him. "Are you alright?"

At that moment Eliza had a bright idea.

She pushed Lafayette's back, not too forcefully, but enough to make him fall forwards.

Onto Hercules.

"H-Hi," Hercules said breathlessly with the red faced Frenchman on top of him. Hercules' face was the same hue, their brown eyes locked as they tried to figure out what the hell they were even supposed to do in the situation. Their faces were inches apart, neither man made any effort to move away.

Hercules' eyes widened as Lafayette closed the gap, gently dipping his head down to kiss him.

He quickly pulled away when he heard the sisters squealing behind them. He stood up, finding his footing. He held out his hand for Hercules to take.

"I don't know what came over me, my apologies," Lafayette said once Hercules was on his feet once again.

"Don't apologize," Hercules let a small smile form on his lips. Lafayette smiled back, continuing to walk with Hercules at his side.

It was silent as they proceeded walking, the two exchanging quick glances every so often.

"Would you two just make out already? You two are so gay for each other oh my god," Peggy said, pushing Hercules towards Lafayette. Maria lifted Hercules' arm and slung it around Lafayette's shoulders. "Perfect."

Lafayette looked up at Hercules through his eyelashes, a grin spread across his face. He leaned his head on Hercules' shoulder.

"I'm okay with this," Hercules said softly, not moving from the posturing they were in.

"Me too."
