"We're waiting, Miss Caldwell." I am so close to tell him to shut up and stop calling me "Miss Caldwell" all the time. I do actually have a name, but I stay silent.

I don't have the courage to go against a teacher, even if it's only Mr. Stanley.

"I forgot my p.e. clothes at home." I quickly say so quiet they barely hear it, but Mr. Stanley seems pleased with that.

"And why are you so late?"

"I... I... Ehhh..." I stutter and everyone laughs, everyone except for Styles.

"You what?" Mr. Stanley stands next to me and lay his arm around my shoulders. I flinch at his touch and the only thought coming to my mind is: pedophile.

"C'mon you don't have to be shy, it's only your class!" He says and laughs. No one joins.

"I'm... I'm not shy... I just... eh my car just didn't work... and...and" I was just going to continue when Styles's eyes met mine and the words disappeared.

His emerald green eyes is digging into mine and a wide smirk appears on his face.

I quickly look down at my feet and I can feel the heat in my cheeks. NEVER make eye contact with him again.

"And?" Mr. Stanley is still holding his arm around my shoulder and now he is shaking me slightly. Some of the girls laugh.

Why does he make it such a big deal? I mean I'm not the only one to ever be late on his lessons. Like the new boy for example, he was more late than me and still Mr. Stanley didn't even bother to ask him why.

"My car just didn't work... and... I had to run all the way to get here." I say still looking down.

"Then maybe you should buy a new car? Oh, wait I forgot you don't even have enough money to buy new clothes." I don't have too look up to know who that comment belongs to, her loud laugh is enough and suddenly they're all laughing... at me.

My fists tenses and my cheeks go all red.

If I could kill her I would.

"Miss Dalton! What have I told you about unnecessary comments?!" Mr.Stanley who all of a sudden decides he wants to be nice towards me, walks straight to Haley and gives her a disapproving look.

"Oh, c'mon! We all know that's true!" Haley says and looks at him trying to do her famous puppy eyes.

"Haley! I don't wanna hear more about that." He says firmly with a high tone.

When he turns around and starts to walk towards me Haley starts making funny faces behind his back. I'm sure he's well aware of that but decides to ignore it.

She's acting like a child. She almost always does. How in the world did she become so popular? I mean, money can get you far, but a shitty personality must slow it down a little, right?

He stops a few inches away from me and gives me a big smile before turning around.

"Okay everyone! Go back to the game, it isn't going to play itself." He whistles and everyone starts moving away from us. He leads me up the little stair so we are standing on the lowest bleacher.

"Mr. Styles! Can you please come here for a little while?" He shouts to drown out the sound of the bouncing ball and I jerk.

He's literally standing right next to me.

My mouth becomes dry and I can't move while the dark figure is approaching us. He has a confident way of walking which is kind of irritating and I must wipe my hands om my clothes to get the sweat off my hands. He sees it and smiles. Shit.

When he stops to stand next to Mr. Stanley he puts his hands in his back pockets on his black jeans, which is sitting really tight. I blush and turn my head when I realize I'm staring at his jeans.

"Thanks." Mr. Stanley says, nodding in his direction. He doesn't answer the nod, but looks straight at me.

I feel uncomfortable... again.

"I was going to ignore you being late, Miss Caldwell since you already seemed to have had your own little run this morning. But I can't just ignore that you haven't brought your p.e. clothes with you. So I will give you detention," He says and I open my mouth to protest but he cuts me off.

"But you don't have to bring any books with you 'cause you won't be studying."

"What?" I look questioningly at him. I won't be studying? Then why do I have to go?

"Yes, and this is where you come in Mr. Styles" He says and smiles. "Since the detention wil be after school, I think that's a great time for Miss Caldwell here to show you around."

"Show him around?!" The words leave my mouth before I have the time stopping them.

"Yes! And do it correctly. I want him to know every little bit of this school when the day ends, won't that be lovely Mr. Styles?"

"It'll be more than that." He answers sending shivers through my spine.

What does he mean by that!? His choice of words, hoarse voice and that outfit makes me uneasy. I look closely and can see a silver cross earring behind the curls and black beanie.

Before I can answer to all this I find them both gone, Stanley examining the game again and Styles nowhere to be found. Great. This was not how I was going to spend my day, I was going to go to the library to study and then go buy doughnuts that I could bring to my sick best friend.

But maybe if I ignore Mr. Stanley's last sentence and just show him around as fast as I can, then I might have some time over.

The rest of the day continued being as bad as the morning and I just want to smash everyone in the face. I'm really annoyed now and almost forget that I have to show the new boy around. I'm really not in the mood right now.

I see Mr. Stanley walking down the stair and I hurry after him. I catch him when he's about to open the door to a small classroom with a cup of tea in his hands.

"Mr. Stanley? Eh... Hi, I just wanted to talk to you about... you know my detention?" I say nervously. If he's in a really good mood he'll let me pass.

"Yes, Miss Caldwell?" He's still wearing the same clothes he did when we had p.e. and he smiles.

"Do I really have to show the new boy around? I mean why can't someone else just do it, I just.... eh...I don't think it's a good idea. I'd rather sit with my books and study instead." I say before I have the time to regret it.

"You'd rather spend your time studying than showing me around? I'm honoured, Really." That hoarse deep voice searches it's way in my head and sticks in my mind.

"I'm sorry Miss Caldwell, but it's already settled." Mr. Stanley says leaving me with a smile.

I sigh and turn around just to face the all dark clothed boy. He takes of his beanie and brushes his hand through his curls.

''You know I can choose to be shown around by someone else, but I'm kinda attached to you." He says with a smirk.

''You don't even know me?'' I know that wasn't the smartest thing to answer, but right now my brain isn't really working. And his presence might has something to do with that.

''We'll change that.'' His smirk grows bigger and his eyes become a darker shade of green. He bows and reaches out his hand to show me to start moving.

''And besides, this'll be a lot more fun than studying.''
