Trixie's POV
"Good evening, children. Now, we have two changes of staff this year. We're pleased to welcome back Professor Grubbly-Plank, who'll be taking care of magical creatures, while Professor Hagrid is on temporary leave. We also wish to welcome our new Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher, Professor Dolores Umbridge. And I'm sure you'll all join me in wishing the Professor good luck. Now as usual, our caretaker, Mr Filch has asked me to remind you-" Dumbledore said before being cut off by Umbridge and came up front.

"She works for Fudge" Draco said, "Thank you Headmaster, for those kind words of welcome. And how lovely to see all your faces smiling up at me. I'm sure we're all going to be very good friends. The Ministry of Magic has always considered the education of young witches and wizards to be of vital importance" She said, "I'm sure I'm going to 'accidentally' jinx her" I growled making them chuckle.

"Although each Headmaster has brought something new to this historic school, progress for the sake of progress must be discouraged. Let us preserve what must be preserved. Perfect what can be perfected and prune practises that ought to be prohibited" She said before giggling and sat back down.

"Good morning children" Umbridge said as she handed out 'DADA: Basics for Beginners', I scoffed "There's nothing in here about using defensive spells" Hermione said, "Using spells? Well, I can't imagine why you would need to use spells in my classroom" She said, I gripped on to the book "We're not going to use magic?" Ron asked, "You'll be learning about defensive spells in a secure, risk-free way" She said, my jaw clenched "What use is that? If we're attacked, it won't be risk-free" Harry said, "Students will raise their hands when they speak in my class! It's the view of the Ministry that a theoretical knowledge will be sufficient to get you through the examination, which after all is what school is all about" She snapped.

I slammed my book on the table making everyone jump as I stood up, "And how is theory suppose to prepare us for what's out there?!" I yelled, "There's nothing out there, dear. Who do you imagine wants to attack children like yourself?" She asked, "First; I am not your dear! Second; Dolores, Voldemort" I snapped, "Now, let me make this quite plain. You've been told a certain Dark wizard is at large again. This is a lie" She said as she came towards me, I glared down at her, "It's not a lie. I saw him. Fought him alongside Trixie" Harry argued, "Detention Mr Potter!" She yelled, "So, Cedric Diggory dropped dead of his own accord?" I asked.

"Cedric Diggory's death was a tragic accident" She argued, "It was murder. Peter Pettigrew killed him!" Harry yelled, "Enough!" She yelled, I picked up the book and threw it at her, hitting her on the back of the head making the whole class gasp, I picked my bag up and walked towards "Detention Miss Riddle!" She yelled, "See you in hell!" I yelled back as I left the room, "Trixie, shouldn't you be in with Pro-" "I threw a book at her" I say cutting McGonagall off, "My office" She said before leading me to it.

"Sit down" She said, I did so "So you threw a book at her?" She asked, "Yes" I say, "Did it hit her?" She asked, "Yes, Professor-" "Where?" She asked cutting me off, "The back of her head" I say and she began laughing, "Have a biscuit" She said as she held out a plate of biscuits, I took one and smiled at her reaction, "Never change" She said as she wiped a tear from her eye making me nod, "You don't have to worry about that Professor" I say making her smile.

I knocked on Umbridge's door, "Come in" She said, I entered it and almost threw up with how pink it was and all the cat plates on the wall, I sat down at the desk, "You'll be doing some lines for me today. Using one of my special quills. Now, I want you to write 'I must not tell lies' and 'I must respect'" She said, "You haven't given me any ink" I say, "You won't need any" She said, I wrote them both before a stinging sensation came from my left hand, I looked down and saw the lines engraved into the top of my hand.
