Chapter 39

Trixie's POV

"Department of Mysteries" The elevator said as we arrived on the floor, we all followed Harry inside a room which he went down a column at a fast pace muttering something as he passed each row, "He should be here" Harry said from his place, "Harry, it's got your name on it" Neville said from behind me making me turn around to see him looking at a prophecy crystal, Harry picked it up and went into a small trance, "Harry!" Hermione yelled as a Death eater made it's way towards us, I stood in front of the group, "Remove the mask, Lucius" I spat, he did so and held out his hand.

"Hand me the prophecy" He said, "If you do anything to us. I'll break it" Harry threatened, then Mum's laughter echoed through the room as she walked up beside Lucius, "He knows how to play. Itty, bitty, baby Potter" She teased, "Bellatrix Lestrange" Neville said, "Neville Longbottom, is it? How's Mum and Dad?" She taunted, "Better, now they're about to be avenged" He threatened as he pointed his wand at her, I held him back and held up my own wand to defend them from any spells, "Now, let's everybody just calm down, shall we? All we want is that Prophecy" Lucius said, "What does Dad need Harry to come get it?" I asked.

"You dare call him that?! You filthy Blood traitor!" She spat making me glare at her, "It's alright. She's just a curious girl, aren't you? Prophecies can only be retrieved by those about whom they are made. Which is lucky for Potter really. Haven't you always wondered the reason for the connection between you and the Dark Lord? Why he was unable to kill you when you were just an infant? Don't you want to know the secret behind your scar? All the answers are there, Potter, in your hand. All you have to do is give it to me, then I can show you everything" he asked turning his attention to Harry.

"I've waited 14 years..." Harry trailed off, "I know" Lucius said, "Guess I can wait a little longer. Now!" Harry yelled, "Stupefy!" We all jinxed, they all vanished into their smoke allowing us to run in different directions, I bumped into Ginny, "Stupefy" I jinxed as a Death eater came to grab her, I took her hand and lead her to meet the others, we all bumped into each other, a couple of Death eaters came towards us, "Together?" I asked as Ginny held up her wand she nodded, "Reducto!" We jinxed, they was a large blue explosion down the column, "Oh shit" I say as Prophecies began to fall off the shelves at an alarming rate.

"Get back to the door!" Harry yelled before we turned and followed his lead towards the door running from destruction behind us, we ran through the door and fell, we stopped abruptly a metre off the ground before dropping on the floor, I groaned as I stood up looking around at the surroundings, "Department of Mysteries. They got that right, didn't they?" Ron said, I approached an archway that voices were coming from, "The voices, can you tell what they're saying?" Harry asked as he came up to the side of me, I shook my head, "Harry, they aren't any voices" Hermione said, "I hear them too" Luna said as she appeared on the other side of Harry.

"Get behind me" I ordered as I held my wand up and turned around, they all followed my lead before we were covered with black smoke, I got down to the floor and when the smoke cleared I stood up and found that everyone minus Harry were being held by a Death eater with a wand to their throats, I growled as Lucius approached us chuckling, "Did you actually believe or were you truly naive, enough to think that children stood a chance against us? I'll make this simple for you. Give me the prophecy now or watch your friends die" He threatened, I went to raise my lift my wand but Harry stopped me making me raise an eyebrow to him and he gave me a weak smile.

A white light shone to the left of us making me turn slightly to see Sirius punch Lucius in the face making me gasp before the other Order members arrived freeing the others as Sirius pulled Harry and myself to cover, "Now, listen to me. Take the others and get out of here" Sirius said, "What? No, I'm staying with you. Trixie-" "You can go to hell if you think I'm leaving you behind" I say cutting him off, I poked my head around the corner to see the Death eater that had hold of Hermione next to Lucius with another, I growled "Plus, I've got a little bit of revenge to get" I say, they nodded before we came out of the cover and began firing jinxes at them.

A curse was sent Harry's way but I blocked it along with Sirius, we nodded at each other before rapidly firing spells at them, I flung a jinx at the Death eater that had Hermione sending him into the wall behind making me smirk as Harry's Death eater soon followed, "Nice one James!" Sirius exclaimed making my eyes widened as I looked towards Harry who seemed stunned, Sirius finished Lucius off by stunning him, we all smiled at each other before he was hit with a spell making Harry's and mine smiles drop as we looked over to see Mum with a smirk on her face, Sirius fell into the archway, Remus came up and grabbed Harry as Nymphadora grabbed me, "No!" Harry cried as I was stunned by the scene, I felt tears run down my cheeks before I collapsed to my knees letting out a scream.

Harry wriggled out of Remus' grip and chased after Mum, I looked towards him to see him broken, I took a deep breath, wiping my cheeks before I pulled out of Nymphadora's hold, "Trixie!" She yelled after me as I went in the same direction as Harry, I arrived to see Mum slide into the Floo network as Dumbledore and Dad began dueling, I ran over to Harry and slide in front of him as Dad began firing spells off his connection with Dumbledore at Harry, I put up a temporary shield, "Are you okay?" I asked him, he nodded "Yeah" He said, I put the shield down as we stood up.

Dad created a Python out of fire that came towards the three of us, I waved my wand upwards creating a wolf out of water that tackled the Python extinguishing it, I glared at Dad before he sent glass shards towards us making my eyes widened before Harry pulled me back as Dumbledore turned the shards into the dust, I sighed before Dad vanished, I looked around for any signs of him reappearing before I collapsed to my knees as the scenes of Sirius, Diggory's, Lily and James' deaths flashed through my mind making me groan as I gripped my head, "Trixie" Dumbledore said gaining my attention for a small bit.

"You've lost old man" I said as Dad controlled me, before I let out a scream, "So weak, so vulnerable" Dad spat as he tortured me from inside, "Trixie, it isn't how you're alike, it's how you're not" Dumbledore said, "Trixie?" Harry asked, I looked towards him and saw the others in the distance, I closed my eyes re-playing the great memories that we've all had these past years, "You're the weak one, and you'll never know love or friendship" I say before groaning in pain as Dad left my body, "You're a fool, Trixie, and you'll loose everything" Dad said before the Aurors arrived with Fudge, Dad looked towards them before disappearing.

"He's back" Fudge gasped as Harry helped me up, "Trixie!" Hermione yelled as she tackled me with a hug.
