•Mike POV•
"So what do you wanna do?" I asked her as she plopped down on the couch.

"Movie?" She replied, smoothing her dress out. I nodded and ran to get popcorn. When I returned, El was standing up and looking through the window.

"You alright?" I asked her, making her glance at me then turn back to the window.

"You sure they went to the arcade?" She asked, biting her bottom lip as she thought. I squinted and thought about it.

"I think so," I replied, as I walked behind her to look out the window as well. We looked across the street to Lucas' house, where Dustins car was parked in the driveway.

"Maybe they changed their minds," I finished as she nodded slowly in response.

"Come on," I said pulling her towards the couch. She grinned and rested her head on my chest as I wrapped my arm around her.

•Eleven POV•
"Max, why were you crying in your room last night?" I asked my friend near the end of the party.

"My dad, he..." she began before suddenly crying hysterically.

"It's ok you can tell me." I said pulling her into a hug.

"He died, last night." She finished, still hugging me.

My eyes grew wide. He died. It must have been awful, I only had my mom and my aunt, no dad. I knew in that moment I had to tell my friend my secret. I don't know why, but her telling me that really pushed me to tell her my secret.

I gasped, breathing heavily. I hadn't passed out this time, but there was blood coming out of my nose. Thats when I realized I had fallen asleep, and so had Mike. I lightly shook him making him wake up and look at my nose immediately.

"El are you ok?" He asked.

"I don't know," I replied, looking at my hands.

"What happened?" He questioned still worried and getting more worried by the second.

"Let's talk about it later," I finished as I walked up to the TV to shut it off.

"I should probably drive you home, it's getting late and it's a school night," he suggested making me groan in reply.

"I don't wanna go homeee!" I complained.

He got up and pulled me into a hug, my head resting on his chest and his chin on my head. Honestly I have to admit, we are perfect for eachother.

"You should get some sleep anyway," he finished before grabbing my hand and leading me out the door.

As we got closer to my house, I felt the urge to ask him something.

"Mike?"

"Yea?"

I breathed in and grabbed his hand.

"Did you want that?"

His eyes grew double in size and his face became bright red.

"El, as long as you are happy, I am happy." He finished before smiling and giving my hand an assuring squeeze.

"Thanks Mike" I finished before kissing him and running up to my house.

•Dustin POV•
"Did you see that? The way they were holding hands walking to her house?" I ranted as we sat in Lucas' house, looking out the window.

"You mean like they always do?" Lucas stated rolling his eyes.

"Do you think he's gonna tell us?"  I asked looking to Will.

"Why wouldn't he?" Will replied looking back out the window.

"We can ask him when she isn't around,"

"Which is never." Lucas groaned

"Guys! Maybe Mike just wants his privacy about that kind of stuff," Max cut in, making us all look to her.

"Trust me, he would tell us. I hope he does." Lucas answered, making her roll her eyes.

"I can try asking him tomorrow when I pick everyone up," I finished and we all agreed that was the best solution.

•Eleven POV•
I laid back on my bed, thinking about when Mike, Will, and I were taken.

We all sat in chairs, tears pouring down our faces. Suddenly, a man came over to me and he ripped off the two bracelets Mike had given me when he asked me to be his girlfriend, and when he took me to the Snowball. I screamed as the man threw them to the ground and smashed them, making me cry even harder. He picked up the broken pieces and threw them into a pile in the corner, containing the boys tux's and my dress.

I missed those bracelets. I wrapped my hand aroumd the wrist where they used to sit. Then I began to think. About the bracelet I had in those memories when I... or some kid named Jane was little.

My hair was dropping to the floor and my tears were coating the small hospital gown I was now wearing. As one man shaved my head, another man came over and chopped off the bracelet on my arm that read 'best'. I screamed and screamed and screamed.

I jolted up from my bed and looked around, noticing it was 6 am, and my alarm was going to go off in 15 minutes. I was asleep? When?

I rubbed my eyes and grabbed for a tissue to wipe the blood from my nose. I decided to get ready and get dressed.

I went to my closet and selected a pair of high waisted jean shorts and a dark green long sleeve t shirt, with a little pocket on it. I slid on a pair of black flip flops and ran to the kitchen, being greeted by Rachel and Hopper.

"Morning kiddo," Hopper said as he passed by me, scruffing up my hair while doing so.

I giggled and said good morning, grabbing for a plate and an Eggo. I bit into it and checked the clock, nptocing how early it was. I ran to the phone and called Dustin, letting him know to get me first since I was already done.

I said goodbye to Rachel and Hopper, slinging my bag over my shoulder and going to wait on the front porch.

•Dustin POV•
Of course, the one day I need to talk to Mike, El is already done getting ready. And I can't ask him tomorrow or Friday since Nancy is visiting and insists she drive him for "brother sister bonding" or something. I guess will be harder than I thought, like mission impossible!

There ya go! Idk if i'm gonna dona prom cause it will be rly boring. K bye.
