JASMINE POV 

Flashback* 

Me: Hey, I can't sleep yet. wyd?

Prince: Nothing right now, just practicing the piano.

Me: I wanna hear you play someday.

Prince: Of course! Next time we hang out, I'll play for you.

Me: aww you're so sweet.

Prince: anything for my princess.

Me: You think I'm a princess.

Prince: i think you're a queen awaiting to be seated on her throne. but until then you're a princess, MY princess.

Me: You're so sweet to me. My dad just yelled at me for really no reason. What does he want from me? For me to stop breathing?

Prince: NO whatever you do. don't stop breathing. You stop breathing then I lose you. and I don't want that.

End of flashback*

Me: *Inside thought* Don't stop breathing Jasmine, Wake up! Do it for Prince. Wake up and fight back.

I wake up and start to swing wildly while screaming. The nurse ran in the room to calm me down and let's me know everything is okay. my mom is behind her. 

Nurse: Jasmine, baby it's okay, calm down. No one is going to hurt you here.

Judie: Jas, calm down everything is okay. 

I realize I'm in a hospital and calm down. I silently cried.

Nurse: it's okay Jas, let it all out.

Judie: What happened to you Jasmine?

Me: *In between sobs* All I remember is Jason beating Kelsey and I went to help defend her and everything after that I don't remember.

Judie: *hugs me* It's okay sweetie. I will take care of this. He won't hurt you ever again.

Me: I hope so mom. 

Nurse: Everything seems to be fine. You'll be free to go home tomorrow, but you'll have to take it easy for the next week.

Me: okay, as long as I can go home.

END OF JASMINE POV 

The next day Jasmine was on her way somewhere, but she didn't know where. She didn't care. Only thing on her mind was what she wanted to do to Jason. Then she remembers her phone and Princeton.

Jasmine: Mom, where's my phone?

Judie: Oh yeah, here you go *pulls Jasmine's phone from her purse* You have a lot of text from Princeton. I didn't know the pass code so i couldn't let him know what happened.

Jasmine: It's okay mom. Thank you.

She slides the unlock bar and starts to read her messages from Prince.

Prince: Jas, what's going on why aren't you replying?

Prince: Please answer Jas. I need you.

Prince: Are you okay, what's going on?!

Prince: I've called you over 20 times now, you're scaring me, what's going on Jasmine?

Prince: Did your dad hurt you again? Please Princess, answer me

Jasmine finally replies after reading all the messages. she hesitates and finally takes a picture of the new stitched gash on the side of her face and sends it to Prince with a message that read "He hurt me for defending someone else he was hurting. I hope you don't turn out to be like him and I hope you stick around because your support is well needed" *Send*
