Falling For Trouble

This is it

For the sake of everyone that is tired of the back and forth with Jasmine and Prince I'm fast forwarding 9 months ahead.....

Freshly graduated from high school Jasmine is going off the college to become a physical therapist and Prince is a new father to a beautiful little girl named Linda.

At the hospital....

"Wow she's beautiful Prince. She looks just like Monica and you squashed into one." Stated Ray

"Thanks man. I'm still trying to allow this to settle in. I'm a father now and although I have nothing to do with her mom I will have something to do with her" he replied

"I'm so happy for you man. I hope it all goes well for you" said Craig 

Roc sat back and watched as Prince interacted with Linda. He was happy for Prince and knew that Pricne was gonna change for the better now that he has a huge responsibility to care for. He vowed to stand by his brother no matter what and even though Prince should've been more careful, he was happy Monica and Prince created such a beautiful child. 

"We have to head back to the house to pack for our trip to Florida." said Roc "I'm happy for you bro. See you later."

They all leave after congratulating Prince on his beautiful creation. 

Jasmine POV

"Hold up, Prince has a WHAT!?" Jasmine yelled

"Yeah girl, he had a baby with one of his ex's, Monica I think is her name" Joanna stated

After not talking to each other for a whole two months I was happy we squashed all that BS and are now back to gossiping about others together. 

"Oh wow...I'm happy for him" I said

"Yeah, Ray sent me a pic of her, she is adorable."

"Well I'm happy for him. Hey are we still going out to eat later?"

"Yeah, you asked me about plans with food like it had to be questioned if they were definite plans. It's FOOD!' Joanna said

"I forgot who I was talking to for a minute" I replied "I'll see you at 7 then"

"See ya."

I heard he was having a baby, but never would I have thought it was true. I'm happy for him though. I haven't actually spoken a word to him since we had that fight when I confessed everything to him. Maybe I should text him and congratulate him or something I don't know. 

Text convo: 

Me: Hey Prince, heard about the baby. Congrats dad.

Him: Thanks Jasmine. 

Me: I know she's beautiful. Hope I get to meet her soon.

No reply 

Who was I kidding? He wants nothing to do with me.

End of Jasmine POV

At dinner....

"Did you have to bring "Two-Braaaaids" with you?" Jasmine mocked Ray laughing

"Or Ray twice, but only if-"

"Ya nasty, we get it" Joanna interrupted 

Jasmine and Ray laughed at how Joanna imitated him. 

"Prince told me you text him. I'm pretty sure he meant to reply. But don't mock me" said Ray

"Well I can't do anything without y'all finding out huh?"

"Your life isn't private when you text us" replied Ray "Okay I lied with some things it is."

"This is why I tell you, don't say too much Jasmine" replied Joanna laughing.

"I should've listened"

"Right this way to your table" said a waitress leading them over to their table.

They all sat, talked, and enjoyed each others company. For a moment all of the problems they had were forgotten and they didn't want to remember them. They would soon all be leaving to go off to college and would probably lose contact with each other, but that's not how they wanted it to be. 

"I will cry every night when we lose contact!" said Joanna

"Who will I tell all my problems to? Who will I gossip with? Who will i tell about all my college party experiences?" said Jasmine

"Well Ray will still be around to listen to your problems" said Ray

"Jasmine we all have a connection that is so strong it's like a Verizon cell tower. the only thing that will shut down our connection is a total blackout in the whole world. Until then we will be in contact. And if you stop talking to me I'll just pay you a visit and see whats keeping you so tied up." Joanna says making a stank face at jasmine

Jasmine laughs "You are so Ugh! But I love you. What would I do without you two? I'm happy I met both of you"

"aw Jasmine for once you're saying something sweet to me' says Ray

"Alright alright don't ruin the moment" says Jasmine "We better pay and head up out of here it's getting kind of late"

"I'll pay for everyone" says Joanna "Ray give me some money to pay for all of this"

Ray laughs and calls the waiter over to pay the tab. After they all get up to leave.

"I'm gonna miss moments like these. I love you guys"

"We love you too Jasmine, be safe on your drive home" said Joanna

"Wait... just promise me one thing. You and Ray won't let anything or anybody come in between what you have. Because what you guys have is incredible and it would hurt me to see you two fall apart."

Joanna and Ray look at each other.

"I promise I will stay with him for the sake of everything we've been through. No matter the distance, argument, or problems. We'll solve them and get through them for you and for us."

Ray smiled and kissed Joanna

"Good. Good night you guys. See you soon"

The next day Jasmine looked left to go to college and she couldn't help but shed a few tears when Joanna came to say goodbye. They would be over 2,000 miles from each other. But they would make the friendship they have work, as well as her and Ray. They were like brother and sister so you know he showed up to see her off and she cried uncontrollably because he cried. What was she going to do without her loves? Live life and become what she wanted to be so she could come back and show them how successful she had became and share her experiences with them and after discuss what they had done and show her how successful they had become. They had it all planned out.....
