New part since I've decided to keep going with this one. 

Closing of her Freshman year....

Phone convo:

"Yeah, she's really sick Jas, I'm sorry i took so long to get to you and let you know, but I think you should come home and see her" the voice on the other line stated

"Okay, i'll see what I can do because I have finals coming up." Jasmine said through sobs 

"Stop the tears she'll be fine. Trust me" 

Jasmine was able to talk to all of her professors to allow her to go back home and see her grandma before it was too late to hold a conversation with her. At the airport Jasmine was able to facetime her mom for a little while until it was time for her to board for her flight from North Carolina back to California. On the flight back home Jasmine could only think that this trip may be her last time seeing her nana and she loved her nana, she wasn't ready for her to go yet. 

5 hours later jasmine landed in California. Rented herself a camaro and headed towards the place she once called home. 

Jasmine mom POV

"Alright mom Jasmine just text and said she's on her way."

"I can't believe we had to trick that trick to get her to come here and see us."

"Ma, you could've waited until she was done with school she only had a week left"

"Oh well didnt the professor people say they'll let her take her exams online, let it go."

"I feel so bad for doing this to her"

End Jasmine's mom POV

Jasmine stops at the store to get some chips for the hour drive from the airport to her house and bumps into someone she thought she wouldn't see for a while..... Joanna.

Jasmine walked up behind her and cup both of her butt cheeks and whispered in her ear

"Damn lil' mama I hope your man ain't expecting you back home tonight."

"I know you better get your hands off me before the girl expecting you home tonight miss you." Joanna replied as she turned around.

"Hmmm" Jasmine said with her arms out

"AHHHHHH Jasmine Baby!" Joanna yelled "You're back! Why?!"

Ray came running around the corner ready to beat up whoever was harassing his girl.

"I see you still got this roach on your arm, Im back because grandma is sick."

"Who? What grandma?"

"Grandma grandma fool what other grandma?"

"No she ain't she was fine when I saw her yesterday at the mall acting a fool."

"Those bitches" Jasmine whispered

"Well he to you too roach" Ray said to Jasmine

"Hey Ray!" Jasmine replied hugging him

"I'm sorry guys I have to go, hang out soon?"

"Of course fool! My girl is back!" Joanna said giving Jasmine a hug

Jasmine grabbed her chips and went to check out. She had a bone to pick with the two fools that tricked her and they better have had good reasoning.
