Before the Divorce

         I sit in the car with Kane, smiling at our two beautiful children. "They're gorgeous aren't they?" I ask him, unable to stop smiling. "They have your eyes." he replied. I laugh. "They do have my eyes but only one has your specific eye color of a very piercing blue." He glances over to me and back to the road. "Oh? Who has my eye color?" "The boy.....Caelith has your eye color but he's angelic like me. I can sense it in him.. Kaelin has my eye color and your demonic traits..." I say with disdain. He replied "So what she's a demon. She's MY daughter." I look at him with disgust. "MY son is NOT going to be influenced by YOUR demonic child and YOUR demonic ways!" I replied. "Well I refuse to let MY daughter be influenced by YOUR angelic son and YOUR ways!" he argued right back. "Stop the car! I'm taking MY son and OUR things and I'm going back to where I came from!" I yelled at him. He stopped, I gathered my things and left, flying back home to the angels.
